Cyper
In RDR, there was (obviously) a lot of animals. The problem with this was that there were many of them. Hunting wasnt really hunting. It was slauthering where 4-5 bears could hunt you down. If you stood still, or even running around, you were always attacked. This hindered exploration and relaxation since you were always mauled by bears, cougars or wolves. If you die or not is irrelevant. It was more like ''onhoes, not this sh*t.. agian''. It simply became so f*cking repetetive. You could barely walk free in Tall Trees without getting attacked. I really hope that this wont be the case in GTA V if animals is present. It will make it boring and dull to even be in the countryside. I dont want to crash into animals while driving my Dirt Bike, or getting killed by over-aggressive bears as soon as im on foot. Nor do I want any potential hunting activities to be more similar to slauther. Edited February 13, 2012 by Cyper

CheesyJ
That, for me, was some of the fun of RDR though. It would've been boring to just walk around the Tall Trees area and see nothing at all. By adding in all of the predatory animals, it gave a sense of danger and it provided you with a challenge as well. I doubt it will be the same in GTA though. Many of the predatory animals you saw in the game are probably partly endangered now, and because it's a GTA game, I don't imagine that hunting will play as large a part in the game. Meekail
If those freaky animals attack ME, i will f*cking KILL THEM!
Mokrie Dela
Duly noted, thanks. We, at Rockstar North, shall work hard to accomodate to your wishes. haha very funny OT: no. it got annoying in rdr and only tolerable cos thats how the west was. GTA with wild animals attacking you? I'd simply never go into the country, and that would ruin it for me. I don't think it's likely either tbh at least outside of scripted missions. Hunting MAY return but it'd be an activity you'd activate and animals wouldnt spawn and or attack you in free roam - i REALLY hope not anyway. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. EscoLehGo
The animals in rdr were unrealistically aggressive but it fit in with the game, I imagine if there are animals in V that they'll be fewer in number and much less aggressive
Gtaghost22
Actually i quite like this in RDR (i still havent finished it). So far it does NOT annoy me.. It actuall made the game more exciting and difficult... Which i really liked, i mean what is the point in making a game where animals take a big role in it.. Only to make them hard to find and rarely attack You!! It would have looked boring and quite unrealistic in the same time.. Chillzz01
Idk. It addes to the realism but can get really annoying like in RDR.
DeleteThisAccountPlz
I think if you were to go in the woods or in the forest, that the animals wouldn't attack you, unless you prevoke them or walk right by 'em, holding a gun or something. skillz7855
They just need to turn down there Aggressiveness for the animals and make them spawn less on rage.
Slamman
In Red Dead Redemption, basically all NON domesticated animals of size would attack you, not small furry critters or birds, but what if birds did??!! COOL
