Ok so I want to be able to play every game possible on my PC. I can't play anything on my one at the moment. So I need one with a Great Capture Card and can run loads.

I would like it to be cheap as possible. But Maximum £500

So literally a Geeks computer. lol.gif

Please I would really appreciate it! icon14.gif

Gaming laptop perhaps? The Asus G73S models my sister's husband got are around $1200, big and beefy, but on eBay, you can get one for around $700 to $800 USD

This one at a real auction price ends soon! hahaha

Nah I'm looking for a computer. Unless the laptop works great with games and can do anything a hi-tec computer can do the go for it wink.gif

Also your Sister's boyfriend is a very nice guy lol.gif

No, my sister(s) are married, dude, MARRIED!

Anyway, the point is he spent $1300 or so USD on that Asus, and you bet your ass you can play Direct X 11 games on it, it has 1 and half gigabyte VIDEO RAM solely for gaming, and it appears MXM graphics card, larger III variety perhaps? That means it can upgrade in that regard, as well as RAM (DDR3) and HDDs, two cavities, should support RAID, but for sure, dual boot, and yes, it does support USB 3.0!

I use an Acer, but like they rib me about, it only came about as a used bargain, the right price, but to update to gaming spec with MXM, it's about $200 American just for a top MXM spec gaming card, and then you have to have it supported, another $100 for mobile Core2Duo

With current PCs, it's noted in my PC thread, the Sandy Bridge E affordable chip is still just not a good gaming CPU, so go with the common recommendations, 2500 and 2600 i series Intels or Phenom II did well in the gaming benchmarks. Acer and Dell have allowed some upgrade paths, the XPS series Dells are a striking move from the company to cater to gamers, but most know Dells fallen bad in recent years and expected to get out of PC sales.

MaximumPC reviewed the Predator I noticed, it got a nice review on the case, outside of getting discs in and out and opening it! However, internal components were bland and boring, alongside other machines. While it may look good and get the job done, you can do better ultimately

Will this desktop be able to run MW3, SAMP, Counter strike, World of warcraft????

Problem with finding reviews is getting them for benchmarks on those games you list, you might find one or two compared side by side, but the new Sandy Bridge benchmarking was notable because about 4 board setups were used, all shared the same video card and memory as well as Hard Drive, when you do that, it's more a contest between the chipset motherboard and CPUs.

Buying something you can revamp a bit, Look over these, in the 1K price range, with the newer Core Intel CPUs

Do you want to build this yourself or get a prebuild?

Do you want Intel or AMD CPU?

Do you want nVidia or ATI/AMD graphics?

DO you have some links from some sites where you're from that you plan to buy the parts from, that is if you want to build it yourself?

It certainly appears he's looking for off the shelf-ready to play. A laptop can be used at home and that's how my sister's husband uses his, the batteries are MONDO expensive, several hundred dollars

I Don't want to build my own! All I want is a cheapish computer which I can play MP games on. And I think this one looks great,

friendly luggage

I tried changing the ram to 4GB but it wouldn't let me. If you could stretch your budget for this I think it's a fairly good computer. I would personally go for 4GB instead and have a 500W power supply.

Or this and remove the moniter, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Change the CPU to an AMD FX 6100, the memory to Corsair 4GB Vengeance 1600Mhz, the graphics card to a Nvidia GTX 550 Ti and the power supply to Xigmatek 500W. I would also change the case to a Zalman Z9 Plus.

Total price £517.62 inc VAT.

I figure, perhaps you can't run 4GB because of the OS? Make sure you move to a 64bit capable CPU to run more then 3GB safely!!
