By that logic Battlefield 3, GTA IV, Mass Effect and Fallout are all sniper games, that's not what he's looking for in the slightest. I've heard that after a while the game goes into a Call of Duty-gear, but the first parts of the storyline is pure sniping. Made an interesting competition at parties, we just played the shooting range and posted high scores. No idea how but I apparently won it when sh*tfaced. Can't remember.. I do believe my local bar has that arcade machine. Anyways, go for Sniper: Ghost Warrior. I never played it, but anything is better than having more useless bush wookies taking up spots in the servers on Battlefield 3 and BC2. Actually, they were fun in BC2 since I was able to snipe them back with an Uzi, and I was also able to turn them into Christmas trees by shooting tracer darts onto them.
