It's not like we're actually killing them in real life. It's a goddamn video game. And even if the developers don't put it in, the modders will. They put the ESRB "M" for mature on the box(or +18 in europe) for a reason. If people get offended at seeing a dog get shot, dont buy the freaking game! I hate all these hippies who play games that involve shooting virtual people in games all day long, and fuss when little fido gets hit by a car trying to outrun the police. It is absolute ludicris! HELLO! Not a single sh*t is given when you mow down people in a shopping mall, but as soon as that cow gets hit with a crowbar, the red flags go up! If we are allowed to kill people in a game(which seems to be totaly acceptable), why shouldn't we be able to kill the police dog that is chasing us? Allow us to kill animals in the game please R*, and dont give in to the hypocrits! Its not like you are killing a real animal. About Postal <put number here>, "success" is relative. It's a more controversial game, that is. Good, not necessarily. Well known, yes. If Rockstar added dogs to game as it seems, it's probably in a more mature way than sticking a gun into a cat's ass to use it as a silencer - or to take a more "home made" example, killing pidgeons or seagulls that explode. For the sake of realism, I agree about adding animal (more specifically pets, and not only police dogs) and even children. The only problem they'd face if they added both is actually caused by some players. They'd start posting videos about killing them randomly, showing how gangsta they are for killing defenseless creatures, and one day another shooting in scholl happens in US and someone claims the shooter used to play videogames.
