bluesboyjr
Voted for Batman AC. I'm not expecting it to win though - CoD's won the category the last three years. I've only played ten minutes of CoD:MW3, and it felt almost exactly the same as CoD:MW2, only somewhat worse. The only other games from the list I've played were Portal 2 and L.A. Noire, which were both great games, but I enjoyed Batman more.
mrpain
It was a hard choice deciding between Batman and Skyrim. I went with Batman anyway because I know Skyrim would be getting lots of votes. I have a feeling Modern Warfare 3 isn't gonna win. People have to realize some day that it isn't exactly game of the year type material.
Creed Bratton
As much as I love Batman, I would hate myself if I didn't vote for an Elder Scrolls game. BAFTA awards suck though.
Fireman
Due to BAFTA is the leading independent charity in the UK supporting, developing and promoting the art forms of the moving image\ I voted for L.A. Noire (well I would've had anyway) it was amazing to see that motion sensor in a game. Apart from that it was a game like I've never played before, so it gets extra points on originality. Sunrise Driver
Voted for LA Noire since NFS Run or Driver SF aren't on list.

Simon_V
Voted for Batman: Arkham City, I also loved Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, L.A. Noire and Portal 2, but I don't get it, why is Skyrim so popular? I didn't like it a bit.

xI Jakk Ix
Voted for Batman: Arkham City, I also loved Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, L.A. Noire and Portal 2, but I don't get it, why is Skyrim so popular? I didn't like it a bit. Skyrim is popular because people like it, just because you didn't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be popular. You can't shun people for liking a game like Skyrim, unless it's something like Call of Duty. I voted for Minecraft because it provides far more entertainment than any other game. The mods help keep it constantly fun and the community is the best I've seen for a video game. I think it's the best sandbox style game.
Fireman
I don't understand why Skyrim is popular with critics. I understand why people like them, it's a great open world, perfect for a RPG, so I understand the votes. But if you take a good look at the game you'll find a half-broken game with a 6-year old dialogue writer.

But apart from that I thought they'd spend more attention to other factors beside the eye-candy that is Skyrim.
d0mm2k8
How in any way Skyrim is half-broken I'll never know. In fact, half of those old-school RPGs you always tout about had more bugs than Skyrim.
