Linki Posted February 11, 2012 Share Posted February 11, 2012 I've been getting into some serious, realistic roleplaying for GTA 4 and it's a LOT of fun. Who else is into this? Please post your roleplays and share your stories. Here's one I like to do: I make believe I'm a hired agent for various terrorist networks who contact me via internet and phone. They give me a location that needs to be terrorized and what the requirements are. Say for instance they want me to hit the subway system that is near the Civilization Committee so they can "send a message" to the politicians. They say that I need to hit the place on a weekday, between the early morning hours of 6:00 to 9:00 so I can disrupt the politicians getting to work. Stuff like that, y'know? I then plan my attack for at least a few days (in-game) by getting a vehicle, clothes, weapons and learning the layout and escape routes of the location. I play the game without HUD/radar, camera angle close and car view first person to increase immersion. However when I'm in battle I turn on the HUD so I can see my health and ammo, but not my radar so I can't see the police. If I'm successful and manage to escape alive, I move to a different island for a while to lay low. It gives some depth and "purpose" for random rampages and I find it very satisfying. The things that I roleplay include: I'm an agent in a special taskforce in Liberty City who takes out terror cells. This works best in TBOGT because there I can replay "Sexy Time" and destroy the terrorists on the yacht (sometimes I'd even sneak onto the yacht via parachute to be more agent like) and "Dropping In" pretending that those guys are terrorists who have taken the building hostage, the same goes with "Chinese Takeout". In IV I'd pretend to be a police officer taking down most wanted targets and helping the LCPD by stopping people who they are chasing in the game. I work out of Hove Beach because there is always a foot persuit happening there. In TBOGT I'd pretend that Liberty City is at war (Battle: Liberty City minus the aliens or Modern Warfare: Liberty City) and I'd take a Buzzard and pinpoint certain places to bombard with missile strikes. Such areas as: car parks, the construction site in Castle Gardens City, Beachgate, Acter Industrial Park, the docks in Alderney. But there is one thing in both Vanilla IV and the DLCs that I roleplay all the time, "Liberty City: 2012". I'd be in a safehouse at one moment and then I'd use the explosive punch cheat with explosive weaponry to destroy the safehouse to make it look like earthquake damage. I'd then move out to the street and blow stuff up pretending that it is all falling over in an earthquake. I'd drive through the city to a "safe zone" somewhere acting as if the buildings were collapsing and the ground was tearing apart, and after that I'd escape a tsunami in a helicopter. I used to do the world is ending thing with the Mercenaries on PS2, I might try it out with GTA. Of course the police might be a problem with me causing rampant destruction. If only PS3 had mods. My favorite places to kill people are Alderney city, the Airport, Chinatown, and that guy who occasionally stands on top of Peristroika makes for a fun kill too. I'll also sometimes transport porn stars from the adult shop in Hove Beach to other locations, and sometimes pretend to save little kids from that shop and bring them back to their mothers in Dukes. I am quite frustrated that there is no cheat for money, or I could actually get paid for these missions, usually I pretend it's shipped to an offshore account to my poor family in Eastern Europe. The Department is the group in the Events section. The story is based on before his wrestling days, where he works for the Liberty City National Defense Force (LCNDF Army,which is in a desert north of Liberty City) He is a busy man, training every day, day in, and day out. It was 5th October 1990. His enemy in college (by enemy i mean a bully.) His name is Jake Robinkston, and he joined the LCNDF. They have stared at each other several times, but doesn't say anything for over 7 years! (skips to 1997) It was now 17th March 1997. Jake rised to the top and became the captain of the army, when the original captain retired. John Cena was nervous. Jake ordered the Soldiers to kill John Cena. The Soldiers didn't like the decision, but had no choice. When they started shooting, John Cena started running away and thankfully hid in an abandoned Military office in North. It was nothing major, and didn't involve as much detail as yours do. It was just simple stuff like one person takes another as a hostage, so you agree a time and a location to pick them up, and then escape and all that. Then we seal an armored car at gunpoint simular to heat. SoT_Agent Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 I have a friend and once we roleplayed that we're MI-6 agents.The story was like this: Ed (me) woke up and he had no idea where he was.He woke up his partner Cameron (my friend).They we're hogtied.Ed broke free and he untied Cameron.They realised that they we're in a ship,due to the build of the thing they were in.They sneaked their way up the ship to the steering room.Ed saw some papers that had various schemes to take over LC.The two agents we're spotted by the guards.Cameron kiled a guard and he took his MG.Cameron covered Ed,while Ed read the plans.They jumped off the ship and they escaped with a bike.They received instructions from HQ. Talking about the LSD uniform I once tried to roleplay that I was working for the Liberty Sanitation Division: driving a garbage truck around, breaking garbage bags pretending that I collected them, picking up litter that peds drop, but it didn't end well. (I started to attack lots of peds for dropping litter. Word to the wise, don't punch a Russian and try to retaliate using a weapon, nothing good will come of it). He sent me to [email protected] to go on to the dating site. His target would be there. I'd take the target on a few dates, get to know them, you know? Really get them to trust me. But then the day comes where I wasn't Niko Bellic anymore. No, I would be their worst nightmare. Usually, it ended up with me driving off a cliff, but bailing as the car fell off the edge with the target still in it.
