IBONEgta
Just looking at the trailer and at the possibility of more than one protagonist and when i look at the what seems to be Spanish or African-American man in the red car at 0:26 his face is so much more detailed to everyone else well apart from the man on the balcony but the man in the red car also seems to be the man jumping out of the van at 0:46 with the red hat on and it looks like r* where trying to hide him underneath that hat but if that is him he made at least 3 or 4 appearance's in the hole thing and i also want people to look at the movements of the men in the robbery clip because the one in the hat seem to move like a protagonist you may think this sounds stupid but all the gta games i have played never has the player been the one to kick the door or be what look like the ring leader look at gta IV Pakie and Derick are by far the ring leaders well up until the cut scene finish that is
senor_huevos_benedicto
Yeah I think this guy's our protagonist. We see him in a police car chase (which looks to be gameplay, as opposed to the older guy running on foot which looks to be a cutscene), that in itself cuts it for me. HOTMILFDAD
I think it's pretty established that the black guy running plays an important role in the game.

I think that the hispanic guy, black guy, homeless guy with sign who jumps out of the van, and Ned Luke are a team of criminals like in the movie Heat. I think that Ned is the only one playable though because there has never been a GTA where you play as multiple protags.(not talking about DLCs). Since Luke is the voice in the trailer and has the close up shot on the balcony, it is safe to say he is our man.
HydraulicWaRiOr
Correction, if they look closely, they will see that the hispanic man is operating the van, [OBEY] Correction, not they can't. Yes, they can. [OBEY] They don't have the same hairstyle, plus the car guy is darker than the van guy. The viewpoint is from far away, and the man is wearing the same clothing as the man in the car, they cannot see the hair because only the bottom part of the left side of his face can be seen. Gar4man
I do think Ned Luke is in the game but I bet he is a boss. Or we have 2 protags. Which I would be fine with.
Vice Beach
Younger Hispanic Pros: More customizable, More Athletic so activities such as parachuting, BMXing, and working out could return. Possible street gang involvement, girlfriends, clubbing. Cons: Highly customizable young street gang member in Los Santos who can parachute, do tricks on a bmx, work out. Sounds a little familiar. Since Saints Row already mimicked San Andreas, I doubt R* would want to go down that route again. I see them telling a completely different type of story. Ned Luke Pros: Experienced, more developed, been through it all, wise. Knows how to get a job done. Less likely to be someones stooge. Won't take anybody's sh*t. More opportunity to tell a deeper story, as he's been through and seen much more in his life. A much more intriguing character in my honest opinion. Cons: Would be weird dressing him up in young kid's clothes and getting him tattoos and such, so they may not be in the game. Which would mean that you can just do all the things mentioned in the Younger Guy's Pros section in multiplayer. Doing these things in multiplayer won't conflict with the SP. But not everyone has multiplayer so some might not be able to do all those "young and fun" type things without internet connection. Just leaving this here. It's up in the air. I can understand the first point, but why would giving him tattoos be weird? My dad's 53 and he has tattoos.

Lucky Sevens
If I think back to my very first impression of the trailer, when I watched it for the first time, and my initial reaction was the black guy is the protagonist. But then after a few more views, the narrative didn't seem right for him. People started saying the old guy on the balcony is the protagonist, but for some reason, that just doesn't sit with me. Perhaps, the protagonist hasn't been introduced to us yet, only his voice. These other characters we are seeing are probably his mates like Packie and Jacob etc.

[OBEY] uh, no. They're the same person, I believe. That is stupid. The black man had tattoos, was bald and had darker skin, the hispanic man had clear skin, brown hair and somewhat dark skin, maybe he is of hispanic and african-american orgin?
