Since they seem intent on adding more detail to their maps, like the dense Liberty City or the random events in RDR, do you think they will provide a beefy amount of side content to explore in the countryside and desert for GTA V? What kinds of things would you like to see? Like in RDR when you skin an animal and sell the skin to the shops for money, but instead just trade fish or rabbits, idk, would be a good and fun feature though. I always thought how cool it would be if there was a playable Sand Masters Cup race in game like it says on the side of the Sandking. I'd like to do other activities like rock climbing, maybe hunting, some sort of exploration where we could find interesting items, or hang gliding and such. But off road racing would be my favorite. Desert Races with [sandkings, Sultan RS', Monster, & Banditos'] as the Race Vehicles EDIT: The Reason i didnt but the "BF Injection" in the Desert Race Vehicle list was because i think R* are gonna replace the "BF Injection" with a 'T-Rex 14-RR' type motorcycle. (there are pictures of normal street cars modded for mudding floating around.) maybe some rally events, monster truck races, ATV/Dirtbike races in some small country town's oval track, snowmobile races up on the mountains. rock climbing event, mudding pit, mudding events. WhiteArcticFox Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 (edited) I would like for the desert to be vast and open, somewhat like the Salt lake in Nevada in the USA, very big and open, where there's not much there except dry sand, for you to just mess about, have little dunes here and there to be able to jump around, maybe add in a little dirt track to race in Multiplayer and have a little mini-game there for a Dune-Buggy race. That's what I'd like for the deserts to be like EDIT : The salt lake is not in Nevada, I am not entirely sure where it is but I am guessing Utah. I understand they can be fun, but GTA is about simulating the life of a criminal, not the average day in the life of some random pedestrian. Maybe a hidden underground bunker filled with GTA SA memories with CJ and Sweet and the whole crew just taking pictures like at the end of The Hangover? Ahhh that would be totally amazing. And maybe someone from SA just giving you a tour of the place, saying you can come back any time? Then the cops come in and you get 6 stars, and after (if) you escape you just see the ground shaking like there was an earthquake and a huge mushroom cloud forming where the bunker was. 2)Racing/Quad Racing/ROCK CLIMBING the Mountains 3)A Mission where you get stranded/kidnapped and left in the desert and have no idea where you are and your map is turned off and you have to find some clues to exactly where you are?
