Meezarawcks
I dont want any of that sh*t. I want real crime activites, bank robberies, armor car heists, liquor store knockoffs, not this bowling bullsh*t i swear GTA4 was a waste of a sequel You just described GTA. Aren't you perceptive. The bowling, billards, dates were not madatory, they were side missions. If you don't like them then don't do them. They are supposed to add to character relationship development that adds to the overall story as the game progresses. Yes he is, but hes implying that he wants those to occur as side-activities you ponce, no wonder you think the protagonist is Ned Luke [Cara Mia] So you do all the things he mentioned in the actual game, and then do them as side missions as well? Seems sort of one-dimensional don't you think? How is that one-dimensional, sure youll go bowling 10 times but you only want to rob a bank and earn a fortune once? You people are such pessimists. [Cara Mia] The hell are you talking about pessimism? I asked you a simple question. R* really took a step forward and re-invented itself with GTA IV. It kept the core concepts of the series and added more realism which is great. If you want a game where you constantly rob banks then here you go: http://m.next-gen.biz/news/codemasters-terminates-heist Notice how the game was cancelled. If anything you sound like a pessimist. I meant as in everything Zee mentioned plus some of the other normal side activities, like maybe you could call a friend or two to do the bank robbery with you as well as having a drink. [Cara Mia] Yeah that would be decent, but if it's not in the game then doesn't mean the game will be bad. Hell even if they keep the same stuff from IV the game will be amazing. P.S. Zee's opinions don't really matter
Jeeebuuus
like maybe you could call a friend or two to do the bank robbery with you as well as having a drink. That should have been your entire contribution. That I can agree with.
Meezarawcks
I think i'd rather have more "exciting" activities like skydiving or something. One of the reasons i play GTA is to do what i can't do in real life(Go on rampages, drive as fast as possible etc.) Although i would love to have some golf, but real golf not that sh*t on TBOGT. Oh because you can't really skydive in real life right?
locolow2011
Oh because you can't really skydive in real life right? Its much more harder to go skydiving than to go f*cking bowling. Its also more fun.

Ispintechno
I like the option but certainly did not get into it like a game. More of tried it, like to know it's there. Maybe Roman ruined it. (not that I ever bowled with his annoying ass, heh, another reason to play GTA4) ((maybe I will shoot him after))

Racecarlock
I think sleep mode should have been made more apparent on the phone so that more people would use it. Hell, I didn't know that there was a sleep mode for a while. Nobody really hates the bowling activity, in fact I think most people would have been indifferent to the thing, had they known about sleep mode. But even then, if you didn't want to use cheats, you'd have to keep every friend satisfied by doing the activities, and they really should have snuck in at least go karts or maybe base jumping. The activities were too down to earth for people who enjoy more OTT stuff. Plus, the activities themselves could have used more polish. I like bowling. I've got some bowling arcade games right on this computer. But the after touch in the game was hardly nessecary, not to mention oversensitive, the slightest touch resulting in a gutter ball instead of a strike, which is probably why some people hated it. I hear pool was messed up too, and don't even get me started on the strip clubs. As for darts, that was just boring. And then there's the show clubs. When I first used them, they were cool. The problem is that they only had 4 acts for the comedy club, and maybe 6 or 7 for the cabaret club. These quickly started repeating, and after a while, they became just boring and repetitive. The end result was that the city did start to feel empty, because there weren't many exciting things to do. The street races were the only fun thing, and those ran out. I think we just need more variety this time around, ranging from realistic to over the top. Then we can all be happy.
Slamman
Well, EVEN I was aware of it, but there were complaints that turning off SLEEP when ever it happened would invite a flood of calls in that were on "hold"!
RapStyle9
Do none of you understand that there is a SLEEP MODE on the cellphone to stop exactly this from happening? acmilano
R* take out bowling in EFLC and replace it with air hockey,so there is possibility that it wouldn't be in V at all.It would be ok if its in game but not forced on us like in GTA IV. Snake Without a Tongue
I have no idea what kind of activities might be included in V. Comedy clubs and bowling totally took me by surprise in IV. If R* haven't realized their mistake with the constant phone calls from friends then... I dunno.
