TheTrikstar
I would rather live without Games. The internet is so much more needed and I couldn't play games without playing with my Friends using the Internet. What would you choose to live without??. Rhoda
Moved to general chat, as D&D is for more structured discussion. To be honest, I think this is a little short lived as it's a bit of a closed question, but we'll see.
Slamman
If you have a social life, is there really a question? I think you have to eschew games. The Web just covers more needs in life

GTA 360
I'd rather live without the internet to be honest, in fact, I challenge anyone to live without the thing they chose to live without for 1 week. So I go without the interwebs starting from Monday and ending on Monday.

_Rob_
Without the internet, I played games before the internet, and was sufficiently entertained, in fact I would go as far to say that the internet has had a negative effect on gaming. WastedEngland
Lived long without the Internet. Can again. This. Started gaming in '96/'97, got the internet in 2005. I like to think of gaming similar to books, where you can get immersed in fantasy worlds that challenge you, maybe gives you inspiration and lets you break away from real life for awhile. In this spectrum the internet is like a tabloid that sharply brings you back to reality filled with biased or misinformed fools, showing the best of humanity but most often capitalizing on the worst. Mark
Live without games please. There's so much more to the Internet. I'd be lost without being able to access such a vast resource of knowledge or be able to communicate so freely. I also need Internet access to work so..yeah. Korpi
I would choose to live without the internet, eventhough there are so many things there, but I just like console and other forms of games much much more. Miro
I'd go with living without games. Although it's entertaining and relaxing, you can't play video games all life. Once you get to a certain age, you will find Internet information much more useful. I remember when I was a child that I had so many possibilities to have fun without video games, but I always needed information for different projects I had to do for school, when I needed the Internet. Marlowe.
I reckon I could give up games rather quickly. The entertainment and euphoria components can be easily replaced with a myriad of other activities - some social, some private. I enjoy games, but sometimes it feels masturbation; it's me alone in room using my hands and to accomplish something futile and has a non-virtual counter act. Wheras the Internet provides an almost, unimited, uncensored source of information and knowledge. And knowledge is power! Give me the webz. Edited February 11, 2012 by Marlowe. Jeeebuuus
I only play and enjoy a few video games. I'm only looking forward to two games right now. It would be tough not to play them but ordering books off of amazon is probably what I should be doing more of. I would have to say I would keep the internet. trip
Tough question. I guess I'll keep the internet and buy a couple of pinball machines. My crappy games at MyCrappyGames.com Free copy of Save The Puppies and Kittens
Outcast
I'd have to choose the internet as too many essential functions in life are made easier with access. ..also porn

_Rob_
Considering you can have games on the Internet, I'll pick the Internet.... Pretty sure that wasn't part of the deal, and internet game is still a game, therefore the choices are games and no internet, or internet and no games, at all! ska
I've lived without both for extended periods of time and it wasn't that bad. But if I had to choose, it would be games. I'm not much of a gamer in general, so it would be easy.
Mr.Funny12
Yea, I choose internet also, I mean buying sh*t, news, social networks and the you can always play games on you computer too.
Mark
I must admit, although I would choose to ditch games instead of the internet (as would many others here) I wonder if we were able to completely erase all past interactions and memories of one (say for example the clock was wound back and one was removed) whether the Internet would be so valued. NaidRaida
I can go without both as I already did long time in the past. f*ck, I´m old. But if I have to make a choice... d0mm2k8
Please, never take my video games off of me. They allow me to live. All the internet does is show me how awesome life is then proceeds to crush this feeling later on. Rinse and repeat.
Jimmy_Leppard
Wow. A tough one. Well, I'd choose the web cause there are games on the web
Cheat
I love how you guys pick internet as something you would live without and then explain why you'd like to live with it. Anyways, I'd rather live without gaming. It's quite obvious to me, modern social life is almost structured around the net with Facebook and such. Plus, the amount of stuff you can do online is pretty much infinite and it's something that's almost required in the everyday life nowadays, whereas gaming's just a way to kill time. na89340qv0n34b09q340
I've lived without games before, the internet offers me a chance to self-educate, and waste a lot of time. Besides, most of the games I play anymore are browser games, I only have like 20 for my consoles.
fgcarva1
This is something that can be answered in the "Have a Question?" topic... but I already stay away from gaming throughout the week, so I couldn't care less about video games... but as much as I love reading, I can't go back to doing research for schoolwork in books. :? It'd be scary.
