OT: I don't like paying for DLC because it's like I'm paying again for the same game. I love the extra content though. I suppose I'd either prefer one big one so that I don't have to spend loads of money or I'd wait for a gathering of the small ones (such as EFLC). However, this "small dlc" idea may be R*'s solution to keeping out most of the content from TLAD and TBOGT from the original. Think about it! Might as well pay $20 for all of the things that they'd sell in weapons/vehicles/clothing packs with some new missions added on. I have never bought any of those packs before for anything. Often times, too, they give me the impression that these little things were removed from the original game just so they could sell them later. BTW, is that a hint saying there will be multiple character? I dont want SR style DLC which I think people are thinking of but I think they are more likeley going to do something like LA Noire where you have to do a new case of missions but obviously for GTA it would be a new set of missions you have to do for someone. Rockstar probably dont want to waste their time doing 2 lots of 1.8gb worth of game for only 200k people to actually bother to buy it when they could do a new character you have to do missions for (lets say about 8 missions) and that would take 400mb of space so they could do 9 dlc's for something like 600msp each or if you have the rockstar pass for GTA V then you could do a one off payment of something like 2100msp (if it is 9 dlc's, obviously less msp if there are less DLC's) spread out untill the new Xbox/Playstation is releasesd and then release the complete edition on the next gen consoles which I think would make the wait for VI(ce) allot easier. Staten Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 It depends what you mean by "small": if they were 10-15 missions long, and released every 6 months for less than 10 pounds and there was maybe 5 of them, I'd prefer that to one large DLC with a new map. Look this way, the trailer show multiple character in gaming situation... GTA IV's Dlc was the only DLC i bought for any game! Why? Because it was worth the money.. TBOGT and TLAD combined are like a new whole game!! It was well worth the money i spent on them!
