jimi1990 Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 is the game gonna get released next year? id rather it be released this year in the summer. i mean is the 2504 thing a load of sh*t? or what? why cant rockstar just give us an estimate? if it was gonna be released in 2013 or even october-dec 2012 id rather know now than have all this build up and searching for new info like a hawk. if it is 2013 or oct-dec id just leave the forums and stop torturing myslef. they've had 4+ years now !?! why is it taking so long gta iv had a new engine and everything and that took 4 years!?! whats going on ? Because they might estimate wrong and this will make the fans more angry than they are now. They probably have a lot of work to do so it will take quite a while yet before it will be released. I see it like this: Rockstar can't give us an estimate or anything until they're done developing and promoting MP3. To get where they are now, Rockstar had to slave over GTA V right after GTA IV. Keep in mind that the RAGE engine has been updated countless times to support GTA V, as well as the storyboards and concepts for the game. Furthermore, as quoted above why would Rockstar throw away all that time and money promoting MP3? I wouldn't want to waste my money on that. However, after MP3 is all done and dusted, I think we'll see another Trailer in Late April Early March with the Release date, so they can begin promoting the game. Anyway, that's my opinion. Lately R* has been releasing one game per year, so the logical thing would be to expect V in '13 IV '08 Midnight Club LA '08 RDR '10 L.A. Noire '11 MP3 '12 V ??? Don't expect the flood gates of GTAV info, trailers, screens, and other marketing until after MP3 hits the shelves. It's not that far away. Bet June will be a hot month for GTA fans. I'm more of the belief that Rockstar themselves don't have an exact release date in mind. Their main priority is to make an epic game, and it will be ready when it's ready.
