HydraulicWaRiOr
I was bored, so I figured I'd check the R* newswire for something not reguarding Max Payne. I found that Rockstar has a post about "The Epsilon Program" , some kind of company in the GTA series which seems to be some kind of cult, along with ICE Diamonds and PetsOverNight.com, which are all part of The Advertising Council in GTA. Here's the full article: The Advertising Council, stewards of Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas' voluminous commercial archive, have returned with another 10-pack of classic radio spots. This most recent update features spots from The Epsilon Program, ICE Diamonds and the people that revolutionized online pet ordering and delivery, PetsOvernight.com. Here these spots and more at www.rockstargames.com/advertisingcouncil. Vice City, 1984 •Fast-Forward In-Vehicle Audio - The future of music is the audio cassette! Can you handle it? •Imponte Insurrection Turbo XRZ5X2 - Shift into awesome. Vice City, 1986 •Complete the Look: Ambiguous - Highlighted hair? Vacant brain-dead look in your eyes? Something still missing? San Andreas, 1992 •The Epsilon Program: Covet No Longer (as heard below) - The Epsilon Program seeks out the convenient bits from every faith to create a religion that is uniquely American. www.epsilonprogram.com •Ammunation: Make My Day Mondays Sale - It is vital to protect yourself. DO IT. The patriotic way. •PSA: Bikes Are Dangerous - Teenage years can be difficult and dangerous. Don’t make them deadly. Don’t let your teenager ride a bicycle. •ICE Diamonds - Chill that bitch out. With ICE. •See Mike Andrews LIVE - He’s changed millions of lives with his book “Rags are Riches”, now see him speaking live at the Los Santos Convention Center. Liberty City, 1998 •Chateau de Buff - The continental, sophisticated and oh so European way to get her sh*tfaced and ready. Liberty City, 2001 •PetsOvernight.com: Would You Like a Kitten? - Have one delivered! Just log on to www.petsovernight.com What interests me about this article is "The Epsilon Program" as it says, The Epsilon Program is a cult, but you may ask what exactly this has to DO with GTA V, well... Brother Adam - 50 yrs old - Welsh monk, cult leader, yoga teacher, very lithe, very into exploring your personal tension through gripping massage. Needs Welsh accent. It may very well mean that this cult may play a big part in the game, in my opinion, this may play out in the game. I'm not confirming any protagonists, but this is how I see it. The cult guy(which I believe to be Ned Luke) is paying the hispanic guy to do the driving job while they are robbing the bank, which could explain his two accomplices in the trailer, they are simply followers. The cult is some kind of drug-pushing organization that the cult leader fools into helping, probably based on some kind of nationalist idealism, like it says in the article. But nevermind that, what matters is that at least Rockstar has released the possible domains for the websites that appear in the game, and this is a small step towards better information. Post your thoughts and ideas. Note: These ARE actual website domains but they imply that they are comedic in nature and I expect them to appear in GTA V. HOTMILFDAD
Meh, I see it as nothing more than a post about radio stations. You're getting your "information" from a casting call that hasn't been proven true (not to my knowledge at least). [i need attention]
HydraulicWaRiOr
Meh, I see it as nothing more than a post about radio stations. You're getting your "information" from a casting call that hasn't been proven true (not to my knowledge at least). [i need attention] Then why does it correspond with what is represented in the casting call? It's flat out pointed out in the article, check it out, everything else is on the Advertising Council on R* website, but The Epsilon program has it's very own domain with some nice artwork, this cant represent something irrelevant, even you have to agree with that. It's my opinion, don't ask me to accept your opinion when you can't even take mine into consideration, if you do, I will just do as I always do, blast on your theories. He fits the description, I see no other reason why he would have those two guys with him, and there aren't any guys in the casting calls that could be the hispanic guy, just possible Ned Lukes, like I said, he has minions, I see no other reason or people that can disprove this in the casting calls, and all of the evidence leads up. 50 year old cult leader, nationalist cult, cult robs bank, cult pays accomplice. The hispanic guy is the only one who isn't wearing the bugstars getup, if anything, you're just ignorant. Maybe you don't understand that everything else is irrelevant, this is information, on R*'s page, they shoved it right in front of you, but nevermind that, luckily me and you aren't the same person. Not to mention that this is the first time that I haven't denounced Ned Lukes role because of his age, but I have presented something to you that may as well be the base of the story, but whatever, you won't listen. This would mean that he's NOT the protagonist. @Yukieiri Yes, but none of that corresponds to what is represented in the casting calls, there is a cult, and there is a cult leader. It'd be just like anything else, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believed some of the groups in GTA III return in IV no? This would mean that the group has a possibility of being revelant in GTA V, it was a radio advertisement then, but it could be big now, besides, reguardless of what I said about it being the same exact cult, maybe this cult has some kind of connection to the other one, and my hypothesis about the group that did the bank robbery still stands, again, I still believe that the protagonist has some kind of connection to who I believe is Ned Luke/Brother Adam and his accomplices. @Vercetti27 The truth is probably long gone, this is a while since 1992, so I'd expect someone else to take over. Ash_735
The Epsilon Program website was launched before San Andreas came out, same in regards to PetsOvernight.com and Lips106.com, unless you think Rockstar planned GTA V back when they was doing San Andreas, it's just a coincidence that the casting call (which is yet to be proven real) is using it, if anything it add's more to the fakeness as the person who made the casting call could have got these names from older GTA websites. HydraulicWaRiOr
Maybe it is, maybe it's not, even if not, San Andreas was a long time ago, why would they bring it up now? It coincides with the information presented, both in the trailer AND in the article, Brother Adam is 50 years old, just as the man in the trailer appears to be, he leads a cult, just as the man in the trailer appears to have control over, I believe Ned Luke himself is of Nordic descent (Which may be irrelevant, but considering they might use MotionScan, his natural traits can be applied to the Welsh character to make it more realistic.) Not to mention that Ned Luke changes clothes in the trailer, the hispanic man is wearing the same tank top throughout the whole thing. And he and the black man are the only people being chased by the cops, Ned Luke is never seen in a chase, or what appears to be actual gameplay, Ned Luke does absolutely no manuevers through out, he just drives in one direction, and kicks in a door, other than that, no action whatsoever. It'd be like making the trailer for Halo 4 just having Master Chief sit in his chamber for two minutes, no implication to the story whatsoever, however, in the halo 4 trailer, you have Master Chief getting out of his chamber and being pulled into some giant object. And besides, this is Grand Theft Auto, why do you expect rockstar to put their protagonist in a situation where he isn't actually doing anything wrong(Other than robbing the bank, he didn't hurt anybody did he?) That's just stupid, however, you have the hispanic man doing manuevers and knocking down people and steetlights while escaping from the police, and crashing into a blue car, that and the footchase were probably the most exciting points in the trailer, so I don't understand why Ned Luke doesn't do anything in the trailer that absolutely proves his role as the protagonist. Ash_735
Well last time they brought up Angel & The Knight from VCS, San Andreas also received more updates: San Andreas, 1992 - The Epsilon Program: Covet No Longer (as heard below) - The Epsilon Program seeks out the convenient bits from every faith to create a religion that is uniquely American. www.epsilonprogram.com - Ammunation: Make My Day Mondays Sale - It is vital to protect yourself. DO IT. The patriotic way. - PSA: Bikes Are Dangerous - Teenage years can be difficult and dangerous. Don’t make them deadly. Don’t let your teenager ride a bicycle. - ICE Diamonds - Chill that bitch out. With ICE. - See Mike Andrews LIVE - He’s changed millions of lives with his book “Rags are Riches”, now see him speaking live at the Los Santos Convention Center. usually commercials that have a website get top billing (such as PetsOvernight.com did). llpalm08
I think this is plucking at straws now. The advertising council is just basicly a nostalgia section that they update every so often, I dont see this as any sort of hint as they have done updates in the past and will do again in the future. And that epsilon website has been around for ages, I remember seeing it back when I was in school in 2006 so it isnt proof of epsilon being a large part of V.
