ShotGunRain
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/33438...great-progress/ Not sure if this deserves its own thread, but I searched and couldn't find anything else about this. At least we know it's coming along nicely. In my opinion it could mean they are touching stuff up, or just still adding stuff. Either way, it's good to know. So what do you guys think? Discuss. *basically scraping the bottom of the barrel at this point* You stole my joke
kb24sd
I think end of March and start of April we will get lots of information trailer pictures just like Max Payne 3. Gta V promotion will start April I seriously doubt it. R* will still be promoting Max Payne 3 in March. April they will still be promoting Max Payne 3 and all of the related multi player events & DLC stuff for Max Payne 3. That leaves them June when E3 the biggest video game industry expo happens. Like I said if R* attends the expo and give info & a release date that would give them a 4 month window for them to do a media blitz & promos for GTA through magazines & video game websites like IGN, gamespot and the other sites. E3 2012 is really the key point if GTA V gets a October 2012 release date. Edited February 3, 2012 by kb24sd

Stremel
Grand Theft Auto 5's release date is still publicly scheduled as 'TBA' according to publisher Take Two, following an investor relations call. Asked about Rockstar's ability to release more than one title in 12 months, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick cited Red Dead Redemption as an example of building a franchise, especially with DLC. "Rockstar's commitment to quality does take a lot of time and resources," the Take Two boss said. Max Payne 3 was recently moved to May - or early fiscal 2013 - fuelling speculation that GTA 5 wouldn't be ready for launch until at least late 2012. "Fiscal 2013 is expected to be one of our best years ever," reads the Take Two quarterly forecast. http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1230390/gta_5...iscal_2013.html The world can wait another year to finish. bluesboyjr
Well, not to be a Zee, but this tells us sweet Fanny Adams. If the game's development was gonna take another four years, they wouldn't outwardly state "We're starting GTA V again from scratch because someone spilt whiskey on our computers". Civkiller
When I first started reading I was expecting a page long document and then I finished reading it oh well at least it is something and all hands on deck to make the game the best possible game it can be which I'm sure it probably will be the best game on the market when it comes out
pariah87
well thats comforting, im sure even if it wasnt going well they wouldnt admit it. Just so anxious for the next real piece of news! Exactly! People that say this is comforting, one thing for sure is that the hype has blinded you. No way they would EVER say development wasnt running smoothly, even if it was. Right. Carry on then. Yeah that is export not import. They were shipping whiskey out not keeping it in the offices and drinking it as you seem to think they do. @Stripes1981 - How is that clever? ChillyPhilly
It's best to ignore Zee. Rockstar get him a little fired up, hate to find out what kind of bad experiences he had with one of their employees as a kid. Excellent find, King! It's not information about the content of the game, but is an update about the game itself. We'll take that - for now.

InstantCClassic
So much Vice City in this thread. I think they're trying to tell us something.... It's time for me to spill the beans. All this time my signature has been a subliminal message. GTA V wont be in a re imagined Southern California. GTA V's trailer and R*'s press release are cover ups to the REAL GTA V location which is modern VC and the surrounding areas in Florida. Makes sense. Check out how the palm trees line up: I've cracked something. Who is this Zee woman you keep speaking of? lol. Obviously I was joking, but that's pretty bizarre. We will get our Vice City back one day!!!!
