So, basically, I'm getting annoyed by what I like to call "Roadkill retardation". TDM. Airport. Me driving a Sentinel. From one end of the runway to the other. Full speed. I directly hit an enemy. Nothing happens. I even needed to get out of my car and finish the guy with the AK-47. Another TDM. Algonquin. A guy hits me at around 40 km/h. Literally. Me = dead. *facepalm* So what the f**k is that about?! We both had full health. WTF?! It's f***ing annoying and RETARDED. It's like my game is retarded and doesn't "know" what running someone over is... That happens with me too, but in equal measure I've driven past people without touching them only for them to drop dead a second or so later. Ethereal_NYC Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 topic 1; yea yummytaco i find that to be a random kinda thing that happens. i have purposely tried to jack cars and bikes from people on freemode and it only works some of the time. GTA4 is like that though, sometimes pedestrians are hostile and fight back and sometimes there all docile and cowards. also sometimes the doors are open in the rooftop hotel in algonquin and sometimes they are locked. topic 2; as far as running people over, heli blading, knocking the tail off chopper etc. all those lags are some of the most annoying in any game ever. my solution for vehicles is to power slide or fishtail into people instead of just full on hitting them. i find the ratio of hitting the person (not necessarily killing them) is high. i wonder why the game kind of "predicts" the future? like i would appreciate a technical explanation.
