A Nice Pair Air Jordan Sneakers would be around 80 Bucks in US, & 400 Brazilian Currency in Brazil at a typical store, What we do is make people send us a link of the sneaker they want, we then charge them the price for the Price of the Sneaker, the shipping costs, and a troubles fee all in brazilian currency, and send it to them. (Usually takes arond 5-7 days) So for and 80 Dollar AJ Would set you around 300 Meanwhile in the store it would cost 400-500. BIG MONEYMAKER HERE! Mate... f*cking import taxes here are so high. My old man wants to open up an import/export company haha. Basically when you buy 80 dollar shoes here, they would be worth 150 (brazilian currency) but import taxes make them 400 bucks. That's why I buy all my sh*t in North America. As for me... I'm a High School Senior soon going to University in the US or Canada to look for an Undergraduate degree in Political Science. You only have to start paying taxes once the shipmebt worth certain price (200 Reals I think) I mean if I only send like one shoe at a time and register it as used there is nothing illegal. Plus, these guys are after people who try to do it on a large scale. Worst that could happen is I have to pay a Huge fee its almost impossible for them to catch me. I mean its not like im trying to send a Ferrari or anything. Its almost impossible for it to go wrong. Unless someone rats... Well if you ever have a chance to get out for awhile and be kid-free I'd be down to play a round. I've been going every Saturday for about a month and a half now. Feels good to go regularly. For years I was so sporadic in my playing that I couldn't stay consistent. For someone who has played 8 years my drive is wildly inconsistent. I also do a little photography, some front-end web design and development, help organize the production and distribution of merchandise for bands and sort all the hosting and "too technical for us" stuff for some clients websites.
