I don't like Nico. All he wanted was his revenge and eventually his loved ones got burned because of his stupidity and bloodlust.

All he did was like "go there, kill xy and then escape from police" and "steal that, then kill him, then escape from police". He's nothing more than a hired gun who ended up as the main character of GTA IV.

It would be fun to kill Nico in a very difficult side Mission where you can also choose not to kill him and help him instead. But he shouldn't play a big role in the game...

I hated Niko (mostly just because he came across as whiney and sort of a hypocrite, wrapped up into a stereotypical package), so if he did feature in V, it would be preferable if it's only to show that he's dead (like they did with our belowed III characters - it's only fair, after all, that they continue this trend with someone who has it coming). I'd also like to see that 'Packie' from IV died in a plane crash (nothing against him, but it'd be a nice touch of that ol' dark humour that GTA is known for, considering we saw him on a plane in the end credits of IV).

Plane crashes aren't funny or humorous in anyway.

Well of course, but that's what would make it dark humour -- the sheer inappropriateness. It hasn't stopped Rockstar in past instances where they've satirized terrorism, natural disasters, gang violence, inner-city rioting, death (in general), paedophilia, and a lot of other risqué topics. Also, I doubt they'll get much outrage if the focus of the incident is the death of a drug-peddling Irish mobster.

Yeah.. I would like to see Niko in some missions.. I really really liked Niko as a protagonist in GTA IV.. I dont know why some people hated him.. Btw he is my 2nd favorite character (Carl Johnson & Tommy Vercetti are 1st by a tie).

There in San Andreas.It's not really believable niko bellic is goin to be in San Andreas.He has to protect Roman unless he goes to liberty city for a mission or Roman and niko moves to san andreas but thats 1 in a million.

I don't know why people bash Niko for being a hypocrite. R* wanted to make a protagonist who was more life like and as far as I'm concerned they done that with Niko.

 

He wasn't perfect and he had his flaws like every human being on the face of the earth does. Hypocrisy is one of the biggest flaws we have and I guarantee everyone on here has been a hypocrite at some point in their lives.

 

R* wanted Niko to be multi dimensioned and hypocrisy really added depth to Niko's character.

 

Sorry, but I find characters who are made out to be absolutely perfect f*cking boring. Niko was excellent because he had flaws which lead to severe consequences in GTA IV's story.

 

Anyway I'm struggling to think why Niko would be in LS. I know there was a plane ticket to SA in GTA IV (Probably just an easteregg), but by the end of GTA IV Niko didn't really have a reason to keep on going in the criminal underworld. He got his revenge, but at the same time his sadistic taste for revenge didn't put his soul entirely at ease.

 

My guess is he went back to to his homeland and/or killed himself. He didn't seem to care too much for his life.

I am sorry but what the hell don't people get about GTA V being in a different universe then the GTA III era.. CJ will not be in the game just deal with it. I would tho like to see somebody from IV in Five but that's about it kinda like they did with Claude being in SanAn.

Only if Las Venturas is in the game, which it probably won't be. It would make sense then, with Romans gambling and all. No reason for them to be in Los Santos though.

I don't care how subtle it is, but it would be great if there was a mission at the Los Santos International Airport, and during the cutscene you can see Niko getting off a plane.

I voted for Niko to be in either a mission just let him have a cameo, or getting off the plane at the airport in 5.

 

I think it would also be cool to see him later on in the game in a masion, like Roman's American Dream, and Niko is living it in LS. They could show he and Roman, married to Malliore and their doing better and are happy now a days.

 

I can also see RockStar having Niko kill himself too to end it all. Get away from life. I think though I would rather see Niko happy, rich, and feeling and doing a lot better then killing himself. That would be sad, kind of like the ending to 4.

 

I'm sure Niko will have some sort of cameo in 5. Some other characters showed up in SA. So it is possible.

 

But who knows what RockStar will decide to do.

 

I just hope that if they do let Niko have a cameo that I can see him in single player for PS 3. I don't play online games and I doubt ever getting a PS 4. I'm lucky to have a PS 3!
