You would like Niko Bellic in V?

Maybe it can be fixed up, like previous characters can be part of side min-games, like the cage match (gta4) can contain contenders like niko, ken rosenberg, tempeny etc... Or go against you in golf matches, maybe can be optional characters in online, or when in single player and playing poker, niko can be in the cards.

Even more so I'd like to see Roman and Brucie hanging out, those two are hilarious together.

 

I'm pretty confident we'll see Packie show up given the epilogue from TBoGT.

Niko is a character with depth. Something past GTA characters lacked in my opinion.

Niko is a character with depth. Something past GTA characters lacked in my opinion.

Too much depth. He was so sad and depressing at some moments that i find it unpleasant to play at some points. Id like to see some guy that doesnt give a much of f*ck and doesnt value things that much in the way that Niko did. Not in a rockstar way, the "dude" way or anything like that. A real G, with authority and respect, and at the same time is a character full of energy.

EDIT: Im a little jealous that Niko isnt Bulgarian, hes from eastern Europe and before the game was relreased i was secretly hoping that he was going to be bulgarian. But thats balkan mentality, if you are not from the region you wont be able to undestand it

Think it would be a good nod so I voted yes. Kinda think R* pulled the whole SA plane ticket and Packie getting on a plane to open up the possibility of seein em again. It was a big part of the III area to see side characters throughout the years like Avery Carrington, first in 86 then 12 years later. Same deal with Claude who was a protag.

enough of Niko and his sad eastern european woes, i could tolerate maybe a couple of small mentions of what he did in LC and his notoriety or whatever on the other coast but anything other than that would be overkill. i borderline hated that guy, he was like rambo mixed with a sad emo high school kid

Niko was a good character, I actually did like him quite a lot. I did feel the depressing part of his character was a little bit too much, Rockstar should have toned it down a little. My favourite GTA character is still Tommy Vercetti, but Niko's story was great.

 

Do I wanna see Niko in GTA V ? I would say no. Niko is based in Liberty City and I cannot see him having any reason to go far out west to Los Santos for anything else other than a nice, sunny holiday, he has no business there as far as I'm aware of. And also, after GTA IV is finished, Niko did not appear to have any desire or drive to continue living the life of criminal/gangster (regardless of the side missions, which are optional). For those reasons, seeing Niko in GTA V would not make sense to me. I'd rather his story just finished in GTA IV + the Episodes with all the rest from that era.

 

I want totally new protagonists, totally new antagonists, totally new other characters and totally new EVERYTHING !! This a new game, a new story and a new location, it is important that everything needs to feel new.

 

So again, I say NO.

Now normally I wouldn't spout crazy theories such as this, but due to a lot of fingers being pointed in this direction (at least in my head) I have a feeling that Niko will play a very pivotal role in GTAV.

 

Like everyone knows the plane ticket to San Andreas, and Indi cleared up the whole 'Michael Hollick is mad at Rockstar' thing, which apparently isn't true.

 

So having the voice actor still on good terms, and Rockstar's allusion with the plane ticket and ending of TBoGT, I think Niko will be a sidekick character throughout most of the game. Packie and Niko helping out the main character in some role, with some illegal drug or commodity. But at the same time I have a feeling with having Niko show up in this way they might release a DLC afterwards that let's you play as Niko in Los Santos. Maybe with their 'smaller DLC' plan it wouldn't add much other than Niko and his character model/animations/voice and some bonus side-missions you can only do as Niko?

 

But barring my crazy hopes and dreams I really do feel he'll be in it somehow, that plane ticket is just too much.
