I think the trailer was based off an earlier build and that when it came out the game was already much further ahead which probably expains why there were no physics on the cars and no destruction when the two cars crashed also how all the cars are pretty much the same as in gta 4

90% done. they're just polishing it up, waiting until Max payne 3 sells it's expected copies.

85-90% done. I think they're still "detailing" the environment. AKA, so the environment feels immersive like Liberty City was. They might still be changing some features.

I think around 30% - 50%

 

I was looking at when GTA IV was released and compared to the 1st trailer release today

 

It was just over a year

 

For GTA V I think it will be at least as long as the wait for GTA IV

 

This is gonna be a huge game, so it will take a lot of time to test and double check everything

 

My guess is Christmas time - March 2013 release

Probably 80%-90% done. R* might just be polishing the game and adding/removing features now.

I'm guessing it's about 78% complete, I'm very specific . There's no way they'd have the game running at such a functional level if it weren't coming out of the alpha stage by now.
