Exactly. Rockstar said they wanted to make age-appropiate games. They said they know their fanbase is getting older as are they so that will be reflected in the games. I like middle-aged but then again middle-aged guys can be brilliant. You guys have seen Goodfellas, Casino, The Sopranos? Loads of middle-aged crazy feckers in those films. It would be a nice change of pace for the series and would open up some new avenues of storytelling, then again everyone would complain it's not like San Andreas, heaven forbid we actually have a game set in L.A. not about street gangs. Older than middle-aged = old/mature. Younger than middle-aged = child. I've got ten years to look forward to before "middle-age", and rightfully anyone of that age thinks of me as a kid, at age 29. That guy that everyone thinks is Ned Luke looks around Tommy's age..... and Tommy V was f*cking epic. I think that a good portion of the hate also comes from the face that people are on here saying that Ned Luke is the protagonists with a great deal of certainty, when nothing has been officially confirmed by R* as far as the protagonist is concerned. People didn't believe that Niko was the main character because he didn't look like a GTA character. People refused to believe that Niko was the main protagonist, even after we told you "why would R* show us this random guy in a trailer if he's not the protagonist?". But look how that turned out. People really like Niko and most people agree that he's the best GTA character ever, along with Vercetti. Trust me, this middle-aged man will rock! Since when did GTA protagonists have to be good looking? Look at Toni, Niko and Johnny - they ain't winning any beauty contests. But to be honest, being a heterosexual male, I've never put too much thought into rating the guys I'm playing as on looks, and Ned doesn't strike me as being the Elephant Man. And since when was this "f*cking old"? To me, he looks in his forties, early fifties tops. That's not "old" by anyone's standards (maybe it would have been "old" back in the Middle Ages, when the average life expectancy was 30). The way you guys talk about him, it's as if you're thinking Jon Gravelli is the protagonist. What is it with kids today thinking that anyone of their parent's age uses a zimmer frame and eats prunes?
