But surely there would be a leak of that though somewhere? I'm not sure what commercials go for with soccer (yep i said soccer) matches, but this is apples and oranges. I guess it would compare to either the world cup or the olympics. Either way, point was that it's about 2 mil for a 30 second spot in the Super Bowl. i just don't see R* putting up that kind of money for a spot in the super bowl. Just my 2 cents Not even for their "largest and most ambitious game"? I don't know much about the Super Bowl, but it sounds like it could draw heavy attention to whatever commercial is shown with the event. And with your most ambitious game, I would imagine you would do things big. Even if it's expensive. GTA IV had a 100,000,000 budget. You don't think they couldn't release another trailer during the Superbowl? Let's just say they go with the original trailer, at almost 1:30 that's 6-8 million bucks. R* doesn't need to advertise during the superbowl because most people already know of its existence, who were going to play it, and it is still too early to push the game onto the public. BTW there is always the free advertising Online (This Forum is one) & in Stores like EB Games, who post the game on there site, actually they are already taking Pre-Orders for it on PS3 & Xbox 360, seems a bit money hungry to try and make you pay for a game prior to a release date even being announced.
