Oddsock Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Hello everyone. I just realized that today I hit the 6000 post mark. Hooray. It's been what, like, 7 years? Sheeeit. I would know much of what to say on this momentous occasion except that most people know me from the old, old "Pimp My Ride" thread in GTA:SA Gen Chat and after that the "Algonquin Assassins" thread in GTA IV Gen Chat. Those things were/are so much fun. I really should pay more attention to the Assassins thing. I would also think to say that I don't have a respect list. I remember once being afraid to put some well-respected members on my respect list because I was a small timer, but I've found that I shouldn't really care. I respect who I do and I don't respect who I don't. Listing names seems silly to me. For the most part I like everyone here so that's that. I don't suppose I'll hit 7000 for a long time, or even 6100 posts, as I mostly come here for the Funny Picture Topic, Joke Topic, Animated Gifs Topic, and occasionally checking Algonquin Assassins. Every once in a while I'll make an odd post in a thread or two. If reaching another 1000 posts gave you a wish, I would wish that people would stop posting comments or unfunny pictures in the Funny Picture Topic. If you want to post a comment and then a picture, okay, but otherwise nobody gives a sh*t if "that pic is funny lol." Additionally, illustrated factoid sheets are not funny, they're informational. I'd love to read them but they don't belong in a topic for Funny Pictures. Get a grip on what the topic means. OK here's this, bye and thx. Feel free to post pictures of hot chix. I'd also like to know who has been calling me a nitpicker, among other things. As for the Funny Picture Topic, I'm just trying to make sure everyone has a good time and I hope it can be noticed that even when I do complain or offer my two cents, I STILL post pictures. And I'll be happy to have a drink but you can keep the weed for yourself, it's not my style. And thank you for the congrats. Same to all of you, thanks for the congratulations. I never figured I was as well-liked as you folks make me feel. If I had read this thread before seeing that some douche at school had double-parked his scooter in front of my motorcycle, I would have kicked it over instead of just moving it outside the two-wheeled parking area. Alcoholics anonymous. There's a lot of low lives and desperate types on here, and oddsock helps them by running AA meetings down in his basement. He's tried to get Slamman to attend since the guy is clearly downing atleast 4 bottles a day, and god knows what else. But when he gets near he swings his guitars at him and forces oddsock to back off. Slamman is oddsock's everest. ------------ Edit: @SexuallytransmittedIllnessGTA Why does it matter to you? People do milestone topics, 6k is actually a decent one as well its not like it's a 1k milestone is it. You seem to be the only one who has a problem with it as well.
