73duster
Just curious, if you could only pick ONE, what would it be? 1- Know the release date immediately, but get ZERO information about the game until release. OR 2- Receive info about the game in increments every 2 months, including a trailer 3 months from today, but not be told when the game is being released until 3 months ahead of release date. I say 3 months due to obligatory promotion time. I think this game needs NO time, but just for the sake of realism, i think 3 months minimum is expected. This is not another release date prediction, and not meant to be another Rockstar bash session. If Rockstar were to take a poll, what would YOU choose? SGT. Johnson
I simply want to know how this GTA is an improvement over IV! Also, what is the "most ambitious" part of the game that will apparently change the way we look at GTA (or some PR sh*t!).
1whitebuddah
id rather the second one because im patient and the more time they spend on gta the more we get for our money so im not fussed on release date

When life omits an answer...make one! OT: I'd rather OPTION 2 as I'm curious to know what has improved, changed, been added.
Gtaghost22
The second one.. I dont care about the final release date! I want to hear info about GTA V every 2-3 monthes and maybe a 2nd trailer.. I want to know what did it improve over GTA IV, also its pretty obvious that GTA V is nearly finished i can bet it will be released in 2012.. New info about the map, protagonist would be cool. My Choice: the second one
senor_huevos_benedicto
Well since I'd buy the game anyway, I'd like a release date as I wouldn't need info to sway me into buying it.

73duster
I'd love to just wake up one day, and see the internet blow up with news that 3 months later, i will be playing the game.

Post your question in my thread please http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=499445 OOOPS! Sorry, did'nt know. No probs, the thread is 5 pages back so a little hard to see. And to answer the question in your thread I would choose #2.
Lucky Sevens
The first. I'm buying it regardless.

Algonquin Assassin
Definitely option 2. I just don't see the benefit knowing the release date, but barely any info (if not at all). Think about it would it make the time go by any quicker if you knew the release? Realistically we all know it'll be sometime in the next year or so. I'd rather have bits and pieces of information given to me, so I have something to go on and then the release revealed at a later date. That's just me however. Civkiller
option 2 we've waited this long whats another 9 months? get a girl preggers and skyrim will still take forever to beat plus gotta try to beat my 776m headshot in BF3 and yes I have pics to prove it. bucsfan
I think the obvious choice is option #2. 3 months beforehand is when we'll probably hear about the official release date anyway so there's really nothing better about option #1 at all. HaythamKenway
Option two, definitely. What good is there in knowing the release date, but nothing else? You would have to wait anyway, and I think the wait would seem even longer by having nothing to be excited about. I love to get hyped for a game, wait for new trailers, search for every bit of new info.
llpalm08
100% Just release date, I dont see the point in being given more info if we dont know when the game is comming out, why do you need info about GTA when you know GTA will not fail, since III there has been no bad gta games so all I need is a release date and it will make the wait sooooo much easier as we would know when we are waitin untill. 73duster
I think the obvious choice is option #2. 3 months beforehand is when we'll probably hear about the official release date anyway so there's really nothing better about option #1 at all. I know that it seems that way, but the whole point of #1 is that so many people bring up the release date topic. If you are forced to choose between 2 clearly different options, then perhaps people would realize what is really important. This is an excercize to provoke thought, and to put things in perspective. Those who prefer to get parcels of info seem to care about the details and quality of the game, while those who want the release date are more concerned with knowing WHEN they will have the game, and want to be surprised. Obviously 99% of us want BOTH, but that's not how life works.
