But for those that read it and remember the info before it gets crapped upon, you will surely be thankful later. So I have been following the forums since the trailer 1 release every day, and I have been creeping on this site in general for as long as I have played GTA (several years). Now the good stuff: Yes, don't believe me, but my father works for Rockstar and has been letting me in on information on a daily basis almost. It has been hard to contain myself from posting, mostly because not much new stuff has come around really. But we are getting closer to release date than we were during the first trailer, and some stuff has been developing. We can expect to see a massive map spanning San Andreas and a few small country outposts similar to RDR. The filler land will be sparse countryside. For those that have been talking about Vice City, it IS back, but not how you think. There will be missions taking place in Vice City at the same time as in San Andreas, but with a different character. This is the game changing evolution Rockstar has talked about and has held out on so far. It won't be like you can go from San Andreas to Vice City by traveling there with one person, but it will be a huge story with different elements taking place at the same time. You play one mission with one person, then the next will be with another. However, the character will NOT be Tommy, and the other one will NOT be CJ. In fact no main characters are coming back except for as very minor roles like Claude did in GTA SA. But what I said so far should be awesome enough alone. As for other game stuff, every single feature is back from GTA SA, like full customization, car shops, detailed buyable properties. To travel from SA to VC you will use an airport and there will be a loading screen, due to technical constraints. This can be done with any of the characters, even during a mission. And no, the two can never meet because it will always say the other is not available at this time if you go to their house, except for during some final missions when you play as one but see the other, but more info would be a spoiler. Now I know you want to know dates. Sorry to say, but the game will come out in October 2012. That is the plan so far and has been even when MP3 was supposed to come out in March. I hope you guys don't get upset now if it comes out a bit later, but this time they will really try to keep it on time. But don't worry because the next trailer is almost done and is coming soon. Not sure of the date. The second trailer was supposed to come out much earlier, but also became delayed when MP3 became delayed. (Not that they were delayed for the same reason though). This game is coming out for the current gen of consoles of course, but will be ported later on obviously. Wii U will not be included, at all, period. So take this or leave it. For those who believe, you can PM me. Just want to edit and restate that I know all the haters will not believe me, but yes, I do have relatives that work there, including my Dad on the actual development of GTA V. I can say this info because based on my account info and the people that work there and their families, I know it would be impossible for anyone to trace it to him or anyone else. I just don't see it, as Rockstar don't do half measures and I'm certain they won't do a mission structure which takes you from one place to another in some sort of hotch-potch globetrotting fashion.
