Nebby
"The map of the Frontier is 1.5 times bigger than the entire map of Brotherhood". Surprised that they gave out that much info considering Revelation's just came out and the release window is October, but oh well.
AceRay
I'll admit it, I'm slightly interested in this outing. Thought the AC series went to the dogs but this is good stuff.

If they really worked 3 years on it, then I think is about time... One of my favorite series, looking forward for it and really hope they aren't going to screw it up. darthYENIK
Predictable, main part of the game will be against the British, despite the characters father being British, with a slight "but oooh, America isn't all good" which will be like two missions in the game, get ready to wave your American flags boys. Are you mad because it's predictable or because the British are antagonists?

Are you mad because it's predictable or because the British are antagonists? Mad because it's going against what was set in previous games, like they wrote themselves into a corner and went "Oh crap, we can't have a game set during the American Revolution whilst we make out how the masons and Founding Fathers were controlled by the Templars, it just wouldn't sell in America, better change that, Templars are now British, and any American Templar will be a secret British person!" I haven't played past AC2, but the Templars are everywhere aren't they? Not just one nationality. I read that there will be Templar's on both sides and neither side is "good". Mysteryman83
Well atleast UbiSoft didn't keeping their fans down and waiting too long. Unlike R* what a f*cking asshole. f*ck their marketing strategy. I will support Ubisoft especially this AC series. Thank u Ubisoft for this info and wonderful series. f*ck u R*!!!! I hope u all DIE!!! Especially u Dan f*cking BALD Houser!!! So, not only are you a pirate but you complain when R* don't release any info about a game that you're going to pirate. You've got to be f*cking kidding me. Keep your hating R* bullsh*t out of this topic or post it in the V forums where no one will care. This topic is for AC3 and unless you're talking about AC3, stay out. FYI I'm not pirating any games I only buying a copy of it. I just saying that R* is an asshole and f*cking greed compare to Ubisoft. Back to the topic I'm just glad that there are cool screenshot and box art of AC3 and the protagonist looks cool, though he's looks is similar to Altair and Ezio. I wonder what he's name? Will he's name would be related to bird or eagle just like Ezio and Altair?

The protagonist will fight on the American side, with primary allies George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Charles Lee. However, this does not mean that the Americans are the good guys and the British are the bad guys. Templars are everywhere http://gamingbolt.com/assassins-creed-3-in...mera-animus-3-0 Seems like you may be wrong. What game is not predictable now a days? All do the same old thing, heck so do movies.

I hear they have a new version of the Anvil engine and I hope I'll be able to play this game. Dx10/11 would be nice for PC.

tuareg
Too much information too early is a bad thing. Eh, i don't think the too much too soon thing is always bad. Ubi hasn't let us down with the series so far and the change in setting will bring a lot of good stuff to the franchise. A few leaks here and there wont do any major harm. I really don't think we'll see anything new until a trailer comes out anyway (E3 probably). And yeah i can't wait for that CG trailer! After the trailer for Revelations i think they're going to blow our minds.

But that's why they've shown what they have, and not more. I also don't think either has shown too much.

SilentSeas
Does anyone know who the real Templars actually were? The Knights Templar were a Christian military order set up in 1119 with the task of protecting pilgrims during the crusades. They were disbanded by the Pope in 1312 amidst accusations of heracy and other religious crimes by the then French King Philip. I must admit that when I first heard about the setting I was a little disappointed. Not because it America, the time period or that the British are likely to be painted as the antagonist but rather because there were other periods that interested me more. Part of me wanted a WWII setting as in the AC universe, the conflict was a set up by Hitler and the allies who have been revealed to be Templars and I felt that story held a lot of promise. But after seeing the game art and reading a bit into the period, I'm warming to the setting. I'm hoping we'll see a RDR style map rather than finding ourselves restricted within one or two settings. I was hoping for feudal Japan or China, Egypt could be good setting also, it is to forward in time with usage of firearms, but then again weapons in that period were not that precise and slow to reload, so we will see what will Ubisoft make out of this. .Trooper.
Looks like some sort of a Mirrors Edge mod to me. The blue and orange colours on the building, all the extra detail on rooftops, lack of detail on the ground. Edit: Yeah lol, just found the image (Click here) Love everything I've seen past couple days about ACIII, especially hunting

Creed Bratton
I want this game now. All the hype I had for other games coming out this year have been absorbed in one huge bundle of hype for AC3. I just don't care about other games anymore. It's probably temporary but I hate when that happens.
