mkey82
That's not a gaming laptop and GTAIV is one of the most demanding games of all time.
radioman
Available Physical Memory 1.67 GB ^^^ There is part of the problem, as IV needs at least 2.5GB Ram on Vista and 7, according to the box the game comes in... Also, that processor is not fast enough, as according to the box, the minimum is 2.4GHZ, and you only have 2.13GHZ...You should have gone with an I5 processor...Since you said laptop, I take it you have a HD5470 video card? I have a HD 5470,but I have an I5 processor @2.93GHZ, 6GB Ram, and 7 Home Premium 64-bit and with Patch 4 and memrestrict commandline, I can run the game at a steady 30-40fps with no problems-except for an fps drop to around 25-27 when it rains.. So, it looks like your available ram and low processor speed, plus the fact that the I3 is the slowest processors in the "Core I" series, that is causing your problems. However, laptops cannot be upgraded, as the parts are soldered into them(according to a local PC repair shop in the gulfcoast area)...

mkey82
RAM has nothing to do with it when other components are not up to the task.

radioman
Guys i wanna Speed my FPS Please how i can do it ? As said previously in here, Since you are on a laptop, there really is nothing you can do besides getting a new and better computer...laptops cannot be upgraded, so there is very little you can do... If you do not want to get a new PC, then the only GTA's you'll be able to play decent is III, VC, and SA....As those specs are not really good for the newer games-IV and on...
