Jeeebuuus
I never expected a release date with the first trailer, that's really asking a lot, I do expect something akin to GTA IV, but on a sped up time line because if the whole of Euphoria and RAGE are working as they should, a game build would not take 4 plus years! I disagree, respectively. Their most ambitious game could take five years to complete. This is me playing devils advocate. But I like to think I'm being realistic if a bit cynical. locolow2011
When was the release date given for GTA IV? October 2007 I think its also important to say, when R* announces that their games are in full development it ussually takes a year for it to release. RDR was oficially announced on 2009, and L.A. noire was announced on 2010, i don't know about Max Payne though.
Patrizio
I think a better indicator is if we look at the official launches of each GTA website. I mean official in the sense that the black backround and logo is replaced by a proper website with screens and subsections - possibly with part of the map. Can anybody remember when the San Andreas and GTA IV websites were officially launched? Furthermore: Their calculations are slightly inaccurate for the fact that the intended release date of IV was October 2007 - not April 2008. They should work it out from there, as, if Rockstar have regular intervals between trailers/updates - the delay was obviously not a planned part of that, and thus will skew the average time between information.
