senor_huevos_benedicto
Planes in trailer = planes in game. Multiple cities in trailer = multiple cities in game. *begins slow clap* Seriously, you guys just think Los Santos is going to be small just because you've played San Andreas. Judging from the immense detail they put in Liberty City in GTA IV as well as the press statement, it should be no surprise that GTA V's rendition of LA will be somewhat f*cking huge. Keep in mind that a city, especially LA, can have more than one airport. Also, if the game will feature a rather large countryside, desert, etc., we can expect to see multiple airports there too..abandoned or not. *also joins in with the claps* @Wannabe in LS I've also wondered about that. Is the vineyard near the Vinewood sign? Not saying that because it has the same root word, but the Vinewood sign is on a big hill and so was the vineyard. *Thanks for the slow claps* Vinewood and the Vineyards are unrelated - there is a famous intersection in LA betweens Hollywood Avenue and Vine Street, so when it came to coming up with a name for Hollywood in San Andreas they used Vine to make Vinewood. Chukkles
I hope you're all aware that most cities are nowhere near the size of Los Angeles anyway? They can still have several Alderney-sized cities that you spend time in as part of the story. San Diego is significantly smaller than LA but has airports and military bases. But maybe it will just be "Los Santos country", since Los Anegeles makes up a small portion of the region anyway. This is what i've been trying to get at. They could easily have a smaller city or 2 the size of Bohan or even Dukes or Broker (not both together). I would never expect 2-3 cities all the same sort of size as LS. Even 1 more city the size of Dukes/Broker would be do-able for them, then just some little backwoods towns scattered about. IMO, we need a home away from home, somewere to escape the main hustle and bustle of the largest city and go somewere a little more mellow. San Diego (though I know little about it) seems like a more mellow place. Little backwoods town with rednecks with ak's does not sound too mellow.
