(duh)." as they are in gameplay and there are more of them, since its extremely important that this cutscene has a single dog in it with little importance to the story, just as background detail. I see these forums have led to repetitive discussions about extremely minor things. If it does then it wouldn't be in the opening scene as R* would want to flaunt the game's scenery. Bullsh*t. 80% of the trailer is a gameplay. This. The sheer fact that 90% of the pedestrians have two or three clones, confirms 100% that the trailer is composed mostly of in-game free roam gameplay captured while R* were play testing/planning out the trailer. Hell I actually think there is only one cutscene in the entire trailer, and that would be the Jewelry store heist. The ally chase might be a cut scene, but the odds of it are slim to none, and it's more likely a random event, like the bounty hunters chasing a person or two in Red Dead. @GTA_dog specifically: All GTA games trailers compose of these three base elements 1. 100% pure gameplay of a R* dev recording for the trailer with a debug console. 2. Cutscenes 3. Scripted events made specifically for the trailer. Like the scene in "Move up Ladies" where that guy is getting chased by a helicopter. We never see that happen in the game at all. And this is the percent of three said elements Gameplay: 80-90% Cutscene: 5-15% Scripted Events: 5-15% R* are known for their trailers composing mainly of gameplay from a cinematic angle. Also what are you talking about R*'s first trailer for a game being no gameplay? GTA IV's teaser trailer was 100% gameplay with a cinematic view. Even if V will use a different engine, I highly doubt we will see such fluent movements in gameplay. Animal actions in RDR were very detailed but they weren't perfect, and I'm sticking to my opinion, plus R* hasn't stated anything about V's gameplay so let's just agree that this trailer has a dog in it and leave it at that. OT: What dog could this be? V's trailer is mostly cinematic as well. That's what I'm saying. Plus I said Red Dead Redemption's first trailer. I said nothing about Grand Theft Auto IV's first trailer. I rather R* not wasting their time putting insignificant sh*t like dogs in the game and put more effort into making V's gameplay enjoyable, unlike GTA IV where there is absolutely sh*t all to do after completing the story missions. I feel retarded for never thinking of this. Not every scene has clones, though. Some of the more elaborate scenes could still be prerendered and they're just blurring the line between cutscene and gameplay. Also, on topic, the pitbull theory on the dog breed sounds pretty solid. While some are done for cosmetic reasons, Dobermans and Rottweilers get infections real easily, so if they broke their tail, it would more than likely kill them.
