darthYENIK
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/30/a...f=entertainment New Arrested Development, with the full cast/original writing staff, without Fox to f*ck things up, and on Netflix so theoretically it can go into territory network TV is afraid to. It's true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie. Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early '13. VERY excited! DeeperRed
f*cking brilliant, I knew it was coming in but didn't think it would be Netflix's exclusive series. Can't wait to head to the cinema with all my friends who share a mutual love of the series.
Slamman
Jeffery Tambor was on late night TV, Craig Ferguson? I can't recall specifics, though it was the past week, he said there MAY be a movie about the series!??!
meta187
I was holding out for the 2nd coming of our Lord and Savior but this will do. ~ Studio: Q-13 Lounge / Q:13 Warrior Tunes / Interweb Chex Mix, yo.~
ll rdny ll
I seriously can not wait for 2013. Arrested Development is my favorite show of all time, I've watched the series through at least 80 times in the last 4 years.
mark-2007
If anyone listens to Marc Maron's WTF podcasts, Cera and Tambor have been the guests on the last two shows. Pretty funny stuff, particularly Tambor, pretty deadpan in parts. Cera said he hopes that filming for the series gets started this summer, but even that's tentative. The episodes are supposedly to catch up with what each character has been up to so that the film doesn't have to spend 5/10 mins on each doing that. Not sure if that's going to be an episode on each one or what. Here's the Cera one. And here's the Tambor one.

Pagelzilla
Netflix is releasing all 10 episodes of season 4 at once! Here's a link to the full article Show creator Mitch Hurwirz, who also spoke yesterday, revealed new details about what the new season has in store for the Bluth family. "Because everybody is on separate shows, we had this idea to do kind of an anthology series and meet the characters, where they have been, one at a time," told panel attendees. "That is evolving into the old show again, even though the concept is slightly different." He went on to confirm the return of Scott Baio's character, Bob Loblaw, but not much else. Leaving them wanting more, Hurwitz hinted at the possibility that the fourth season could open up the door to an order for additional episodes. "We would love this to be the first first of many visits," he said. Exiting stuff!
darthYENIK
Yeah, I'd figured it would be like that. The same a Lilyhammer.
darthYENIK
Huge bump. I just saw this while looking for something to watch on Netflix... http://instantwatcher.com/titles/190313

darthYENIK
I guess they put all the fake TV shows and movies on Netflix and linked them to Arrested Development episodes. Shows like Boy Fights and Girls with Low Self-Esteem. It was weird though, because I don't know if it was just for this video or some sort of Netflix test or whatever, but when I watched it last night, it showed an 11 minute video with shots of the Netflix HQ, and a guy doing random things like juggling and doing Shakespeare. Voodoo
juggling and doing Shakespeare. I would watch the sh*t outta that.
darthYENIK
juggling and doing Shakespeare. I would watch the sh*t outta that. It actually is just a Netflix test video or something like that. It sounds better than it looks, but have at it.

darthYENIK
Another thing I noticed. On Netflix, they have the 5 star rating system, but for Arrested Development they have a 5 Banana rating system.
Cubanwhip
So the new season has been confirmed with a total of 15 episodes due on May 26th. This is obviously weeks late, but still. Favorite episode? Mine's got to be Mr. F or Pier Pressure. Maeby even Making a Stand.
darthYENIK
So hard to pick a favorite, but I just watched the one with Gene Parmasan and the trip to Mexico.
Cubanwhip
So, that hotly discussed deleted scene from the upcoming season 4 that hasn't come to light, has come to light! Max
How have I only just heard this was getting another series? I'm incredibly excited and I'm so glad they've managed to get literally everyone back together so hopefully it won't be a shadow of its former glory. Anyone else re-watching the show? darthYENIK
I'm always watching it. One of those shows I fall asleep to once or twice a week.
Max
I'm always watching it. One of those shows I fall asleep to once or twice a week. Yeah I get that, that's what I'm like with the UK Office. When it says 'All at once' on the trailer does that mean you can watch the whole series back to back on the 27th if you wanted? Interesting way to release a show. darthYENIK
Yeah, the entire thing is released. Netflix does it that way with it's original shows, like Lillyhammer and Hemlock Grove. A WEEK FROM TOMORROW!
Voodoo
Hell yeah, so looking forward to this. I've been re-watching it over the past couple of months and have a few eps left in S3 for this week. Probably end up marathoning the whole thing when it's released.

Yeah, I finish my University Finals on the 29th so as soon as they're done I'll have a lot of hangover time to settle down to an Arrested Development marathon. Pefect. darthYENIK
I'm totally marathoning it. How can any fan of this show resist? It gets me so excited just thinking that the next great Arrested Development moments are waiting for us next Sunday.
rudy
I just heard that there will be a lot of celebrities guest starring in the upcoming episodes and it worries me a bit cause I always wanted the show to be focused on the Bluth family, rather than a bunch of guest stars.
Voodoo
It's not as if the show hasn't had a bunch of guest stars before. I don't see how it will be much different.
