YoungR3B3L Posted January 30, 2012 Share Posted January 30, 2012 (edited) I was adding a few files to my gta3 img with IMG tool and then I accidently closed it while it was rebuilding.Now everytime I access GTA SA it crashes to the desktop with a not responding message. Every IMG file seems to work except gta 3.. Please give a good answer other than re-installing. fireguy109 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 It's only been a few hours man, chill the heck out. From the experience I have with this, it seems your gta3.dir file is corrupt. Deji Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 An exception at the address you posted can only happen if you have 2 instances of GTASA running at a time. Meaning you're running one instance, it's not opening (or you're not being patient enough) and rage-clicking the .exe file a couple more times... So SA if is not even opening right, it's probably not one of your files causing the problem. However, it could be one of your root files (DLL's or ASI's). Try recovering all of your "Root" files (except gta_sa.exe) with GTASA Recoverer. This will remove the ASI loader, if you have it installed. Tell me if it fixes the problem. YoungR3B3L Posted February 5, 2012 Author Share Posted February 5, 2012 Nevermind.I fixed the problem I opened IMG tool and deleted the former broken SA folder (Everytime I delete something in rockstar games it still appears in IMG tool) Hope this helps anyone with a similiar problem.
