Side-note: Last thing about AC3. While I dislike it being annualized like this you have to remember that the last AC where Ubisoft Montreal were lead developers was Brotherhood (2010) and they still had a handful of other studios working on that one as well. Revelations was spread across 5-10 developers across the world which is why it largely sucks ass and how they manged to get it out in such a short time period. Ubisoft Montreal [the main/core studio] have been working on Assassin's Creed III full time since at least 2010 so that's a good 2-3 years by the end of the year. It's the first major installment in the series since II (2009). So while it's been annualized like POS:MW/BO I just think of AC:B and AC:R as disc-based expansion packs predominantly farmered out to external B-studios with some oversight by Montreal. I liked Revelations, whilst it's shorter than Brotherhood, I still enjoyed a lot more than certain other games last year and the game gave a brilliant send off for Altair and Ezio. I just think people were pissed at how short it was and how the story was less based on revenge, but more a personal journey for Ezio, so he didn't really seem central to the events in the city. That the and the Tower Defense Mini-Game, a lot of people hated that, luckily I know how to play the game so I only had to play it twice in the entire game. I agree.... they're still quality spin-off titles to fill in the time and the events in between II & III but they do feel short/rushed/recycled because they are... and that's perfectly understandable given the circumstances. I really have enjoyed the series and i'd hate for people to have gotten burned out on it and miss the last game in the main franchise which is actually a brand new game with brand new gameplay mechanics/environments that they've spent years making. If AC:B & R felt like fan exploiotation or fanservice (depending on your perspective) just ignore them or appreciate them for what they are. I suppose if AC3 tanks it would be Ubisoft's fault for milking it into the ground.... but they probably will have already made up for those lost sales with the sales of AC:B & R so no big deal. If GTA V isn't the main feature in March or April GI you can kiss all hopes of GTA V in 2012 and probably this side of May, 2013 goodbye imo. Nah, no need no bring out a new Assassins Creed every year. Quality over Quantity, remember? The last game is set in 2012. To miss that ship date that they've been aiming for since at least 2007 would be pretty retarded. Yep, and they already confirmed that it will come out in 4th quarter 2012.. But me, I really dont get disappointed with the lack of new info, kinda used to it by now. Anyway, It gives me something to look forward to at least. Plus i love to investigate sh*t... its fun for me, a game in its own way. LOL! OT- Gameinformer had a cover story for GTAIV in May 2007 issue, which enclosed details not revealed by anyone else, like the Main character name, Niko Bellic, and other various details. Now that was just a Month after the First trailer released, as the May issue came in April, when the trailer came in March. If any game magazines get a cover story, it is going to be Gameinformer, which is why i like to keep an eye on their post on twitter, especially AndyMac's personal GI account.
