According to Andy McNamaras (GI editor) twitter profile the next game informer cover reviel will be this coming this thursday. For those of you that dont know, (and if I remember correctly) GI was the first magazine to give us info regarding san andreas and IV, and I think it is highly possible that they will be the first to shed light on GTAV as well. Whether the march issue will have V on its cover or nor is just speculation. However, as I have understood, this guy normally hints at what game it might be in advance; like with the xcom game from this months issue to which he hinted was a non-surprising game with a surprising developer. This time around he seems rather quit though, perhaps in an R* fashon? I dunno.... Am I grasping the straws here? whatcha think? I hope R* will finally come out of the dark and give us some looonnnnngggg awaited GTA Juice. But it is quite funny how farfetched we are willing to go in order to squeeze any vaguely related news absolutely dry in a futile attempt to quench our thirst for GTA V. I ask for a tease on the April cover, had my months mixed up LOL! Because he was going on about having 5 choices of awesome games for the May cover and it threw me off... anyway, he replied back "@FRA1Z3R Next issue is March, and soon. Hopefully we get some kind of info in February though. It's been 3 months since the trailer was released... so I'd say we are due for more insight. Sure, R* wants to focus on MP3 right now, but GI always gets special exclusives way before any real hype starts, doesn't it? But then again, they would probably make a lot more noise if they had V's reveal. So yeah, it could be V, but I'm going to presume it isn't to save myself from disappointment. If GTA V isn't the main feature in March or April GI you can kiss all hopes of GTA V in 2012 and probably this side April - May, 2013 goodbye imo. Going to a friends 21st b-day and I plan to get drunk as f*ck, then I'll be staying there a few days.... then I will be heading to Texas Roadhouse and afterwards going to see The Grey. Side-note: Last thing about AC3. While I dislike it being annualized like this you have to remember that the last AC where Ubisoft Montreal were lead developers was Brotherhood (2010) and they still had a handful of other studios working on that one as well. Revelations was spread across 5-10 developers across the world which is why it largely sucks ass and how they manged to get it out in such a short time period. Ubisoft Montreal [the main/core studio] have been working on Assassin's Creed III full time since at least 2010 so that's a good 2-3 years by the end of the year. It's the first major installment in the series since II (2009). So while it's been annualized like POS:MW/BO I just think of AC:B and AC:R as disc-based expansion packs predominantly farmered out to external B-studios with some oversight by Montreal. All I'm saying is the quality will not suffer so you needn't be worried about that. And having a game all about 2012 come out in 2013 is not an option. not an option.
