Coral_City
I doubt that the American Dad developers even know what GTA V is. I wouldn't expect them to either, given R*s complete lack of marketing for the game. Zee and Crawford are the same person.

skillz7855
I am usually not the kind of person who will fall for these things, but other than the golf ball, there were definitely some similarities between the episode and the Grand Theft Auto V trailer. Maybe I'm pushing it but: And why the hell are there so many V's everywhere? Just look at the red thingy: the V on that bag does resemble the green V logo but flip the other way. Maybe Seth Mcfarlane is voice actor for V and he is sending subliminal message about GTA V in this episode of American Dad.

That V does bare an uncanny likeness to the GTA V, but like someone previously mentioned, if American Dad or any other of Seth's shows were gonna make a nod to GTA, I think it'd be one big unmistakable nod and not something as subtle as this. gtahoss
Awsome. Maybe erea 59 is in the game again and we find an alien this time and the clues are at the golf course. Maybe we even help the alien get to the montains so he can go back home.
SGT. Johnson
And BINGO! American Dad is all about parodying! Therefore, perhaps why the scene is so similar to the V Trailer is because Seth McFarlane must have seen it and wanted to add it. It is a parody because it's different people and probably doing silly things to give golfers a bad name. I haven't seen it yet but this is what American Dad, MAD, and Family Guy do: parody off other shows and forms of Media.

senor_huevos_benedicto
Just in case people are not aware that Seth is very aware of GTA. I doubt that was Macfarlane himself, they have other writers. And he isn't THAT aware of it, listen to the news of the early 2000's and it's there quite a lot. bluesboyjr
Just in case people are not aware that Seth is very aware of GTA. Actually, that clip convinced me Seth knows f*ck all about GTA. Anyone could have made that "lol gta teaches you to kill hookers" joke at any time in the past ten years. Fox News could have come up with a better joke. I'd just like to say I have nothing against Family Guy or American Dad (I can't say it hasn't had funny moments), I just think Seth McFarlane is a humongous c*nt. Johnny Playert
If it's a GTA reference, it's nothing more than that - a reference. Seth Macfarlane jams references to Star Wars, Back to the Future, Two and a Half Men, Monty Python, whatever into Family Guy (the show is practically one big pop culture reference), but that doesn't mean he has a secret partnership with George Lucas/Robert Zemeckis/Charlie Sheen/John Cleese. It just means he can't come up with an original joke. *zing* Yes, but whenever they reference that sh*t it's always pointed out as being referenced. But that golf scene looks more like some product placement-type-thing than a reference. Especially the logo on the ball. And then you have that car emblem and bag logo. It just seems weird. I wouldn't be surprised @ what OP said, subconscious integration of GTA V in a (populair?) tv-show. Really not that big of a show in Holland though, like Family Guy. Ispintechno
If SOPA passed the forum would be shut down. Torrents sites only give you trackers, files that tell your computer where to look. It's legal and that is why torrent sites still exist. Sites don't get shut down because of links. At least not today or anytime soon. I can delete if there is an uproar, or if a mod wants too first. SOPA also did not pass.

Right now you can still find torrent links directly through google. I think we are still living free right now, thankfully. That said protect your freedom and run a program like Peerblock if you DL.
