The only way multiple discs could work for GTA is if they did it Battlefield 3 style, where Xbox 360 had the option to download the "HD" content to the HDD or play a less flashy version. No other way would work. Changing the discs was OK in LA Noire because it was a completely story-based game, and if you played from start to end you'd only had to change discs twice. Seeing as the only reason LA Noire did that was because of all the Motionscan that GTA V won't be using, there's no need to be worried.

It will most likely be on 2-3 disks on xbox 360 and 1 blu-ray disk on PS3..  i'm really Glad i have a PS3.. (no offence to xbox 360 owners)

None taken gta looks better on xbox anyway so I don't mind having multiple disks(no offence to ps3 owners)

lol, i have both, ps3 looks smoother in gta iv

It wont even work. How does the console know which disk to read, unless it tells you to put them into a specific order?

... I guess they could, but, they won't. Not a chance.

V will be the same number of discs on PS3 and 360. I'm going to take a wild guess and say 1.

Same stupid f*cking bullsh*t about the PS3 vs. Xbox 360. Since all this is a game, I think I can tolerate a little bit of occasional lag during online gameplay. The only reason Xbox has a better experience online is because you're paying an annual fee, which they use partially to get more servers.

Personally, I think $400 is enough to pay, one time, for the PS3 console itself, and be able to enjoy online play without anymore fee's.

From a technical standpoint, lag & slow response speed from a server is inevitable, depending on the server load, which is never constant.

Offence taken,

Seriously, how can you tell?

Well since we are all experts and we can see with the eye that GTA looks better on other consoles... I can clearly see GTA runs way better on a PS3.

None taken, i think GTA looks way better on my console, in its Half disk format. I morphed my Xbox 360 and PS3 together (No offence ps3 + Xbox 360 owners)

According to one friend, he thinks the GTA or MP delay is due to Rockstar testing a new streaming technique, and before you denounce that, STREAMING data DOES occur off a compressed data disc, and getting the game to a finalized disc edition points out that that rumor could be based on fact, each time GTA or a new Rockstar game comes to the same system, dated, of course, a compression scheme is likely revised, so.....

Even better, Skyrim was only 3.9GB installed on the XBOX 360's HDD

I strongly doubt that GTA V will be 3 disks, possibly 2 with the second being downloaded to the HDD. LA Noire had to be 3 disks because of the facial recognition software and all the variables in the missions, if you miss ceirtain clues you will get different/not all the questions from everyone so there are loads of sentances used that you wont neccisarily have seen. As for GTA V it doesnt look like they have used facial recognition or else the hispanic and black chaps that were seen in the trailer would have been recognised by somebody already while the only person who has been recognised is Ned Luke and he isnt even a hugeley recognisable person and the reason he was recognised was because of his voice.

I feel like every person that thinks this is retarded.

I am 90% sure that it will be on a single disc.

I doubt it will have two discs much less THREE.

L.A. Noire had so many discs because of the graphical technology.

V will have good graphics, but nothing compared to mo-cap facial animation.

So all of you can calm down with this useless talk.
