Turning off cops, Forever,

I'm wondering if it's possible to turn off cops completely in GTA VC: PC. They're getting REALLY annoying.

 

Trying to have fun but i always get the cops after me and I need them / wanted level removed completely. Thanks.

 

I'm not sure about that modding thing, As if there is a non-modding way.. if there is only a modding way, can someone move it into that forum... I'm just not sure.

I don't use cheat codes & I don't recommend using them because of the potential damage that can be done to a save file when saving the game after using them. If you don't care about that or aren't going to save here's a couple of links to check out:

As far as I am aware, there is no cheat code in GTA: Vice City that will disable the wanted level completely unless if you want to enter the Decrease Wanted Level cheat (LEAVEMEALONE) whenever you get a wanted level. I'm not sure whether there is a mod that will do this or not, but you will have to ask about that in the modding forums.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll probably just ask it in the modding forums.. as I see now that it could be modding related, sorry. but now i know there atleast isn't a normal way of getting rid of the cops.

There are mods for this, but i would not use them if you intend on completing the story. There are missions (like the mission you steal a tank and the bank mission) where cops must be on, same as the mission where you and lance dress as cops. I would leave it on.

But there ARE ways of getting rid of the cops that don't require one bit of modding... They are called ducking into a Pay N' Spray, picking up the bribe icons, and completing your current mission. That gets rid of em for me every time.
