wininho
I have a good setup for GTA SA. After I installed some mods, I had little problem with loading textures until I installed the Stream Memory Fix v2.0 and changed settings "DEP" in "systempropertiesperformance." The big problem came next. Despite having removed the problems of loading textures, now my game always closes after a period of 5 to 7 minutes, even without any mod installed. Please I have looked in several places with an answer and not found. My SO is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits. Sorry for my bad English and thanks for everything. lil weasel
this part of the Forum is for UN-modded games. Take note of the Banner at the upper part of the page. You say, Even without mods installed you have the problem. Which version of the game did you purchase, (V2 or V3)? Did you install the Game with the Original DVD? Are you playing the Game with the Original DVD in the Drive?
Stryfaar
Why would you even install the Stream Memory Fix if you don't have any mods installed?
wininho
Why would you even install the Stream Memory Fix if you don't have any mods installed? I plan to install some mods. When I overcome a certain amount of mods intalled the game starts to have problems with loading textures. In this case I need to have the Stream Memory Fix installed. The big problem is that if I have not installed the Stream Memory Fix I go to have problems with textures. But if I install it I get to have a time limit until the game close. That is before anything else I need to solve the problem with the Stream Memory Fix. Sorry for my bad english.
Stryfaar
Try using Stream Memory Fix v1.0. Download If that didn't work, try using "vorbisFile.dll” and “vorbishook.dll” from the CLEO 3 Library. Edited January 29, 2012 by JF-Mir2
wininho
Try using Stream Memory Fix v1.0. Download If that didn't work, try using "vorbisFile.dll” and “vorbishook.dll” from the CLEO 3 Library. Apparently the problem of closing the game was related to the Stream Memory Fix V2.0. Using only the V1.0 I had no problem again. But not yet installed any mod. Anything I return to the topic. Thanks JF-Mir2!!!
