GR7
Pretend its a instrumental and just listen to the beat It would be a good fit as a GTA theme. 1:05 to 1:40 would also make a good 30 seconds left countdown song in multiplayer.
neo92boi
IM gonna post it one more time cuz I really think this fits WAYYYYY too good, it actually sounds like something R* would use.. ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!! Wiz Kahlifa - California

Wjlld
A surfy rock theme. Something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBOpmj6j7NQ ? The album Reverse Shark Attack is a masterpiece IMO. Edited June 24, 2012 by Wjlld

Wjlld
As has been said already, Rockstar are going to retain the vibe of the first trailer. Please, no more of this hip hop and rap crap; we've seen enough of it already (just look at Saints Row!). I'd prefer a hundred times over that Rockstar went back to the borderline cheesy Blondie's 'Atomic' and A Flock of Seagulls' 'I Ran' vibe than have to risk hearing a second of Kanye West whenever I get in a car and some idiot's left the wrong radio station on. Right! The Small Faces track has an amazing vibe that I hope we can explore with additional artists. As far as rap goes, I can't really relate to it at all and never consider pursuing it outside of GTA. However I appreciate it's power as a genre and it's blown up escapism. Not to say there aren't a lot (a lot) of horrible Hip Hop artists but Rockstar consistently selects and serves quality music that supports their games and rewards the player for stepping outside their comfort zone. Better Yet, I know its probably been posted already $$$$ Edited June 24, 2012 by neo92boi

Cazzer14
Odgen's nut gone Flake? Nah but seriously THIS - fits the "pursuit of the almighty dollar" perfectly. I agree. Even if it was instrumental, it would suit it perfectly.
packardcaribien
I highly doubt of it as a theme song, but it certainly works with the money theme. If anything, it might take it too far. As for anything posted before, the O'Jays seems like an obvious and epic choice.

No seriously bro im gonna be REALLY disappointed if that's not playing on V's official site soon that theme OOZEZ Boss. IV's theme kinda fit well with it. It was dreary and somber due to Niko's past but made you feel embraced by the opportunity in the beautiful city of Liberty, but it also made you aware that this was not gonna be an easy ride and it amped you up at the end with a empowering violin and synth solo to let you know THIS IS GTA IV and your gonna have one hell of a time. This theme fits with V like a glove in the way I interpret it. ITS HYPER, glitzy, and powerfully established almost like your a king already and you don't even know it yet. Feels like your in your mansion over in Vinewood lookin out over the skyline of Los Santos staring at all the ants that lye beneath you! Sorting out your crack from your coke n weed, tossing stacks in your Infernus' trunk, you got on some high end Clothing from Victim or Perseus ready to have a night on the town with your cronies. the way it has that repetitive but smooth flow like your counting masses of mula. Its so perfect..

LBYN
I would love to see a montage of beating rival gang members up to this song Also fits the Ned Luke character, AND the SoCal beach feel.
Gsus
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet... It seems like most are just posting their favorite songs... I mostly favor rap but I think something like this would be excellent. Listen to this Kavinsky - Nightcall... its from the Drive Motion Picture... I realize they use original scores but tell me this wouldn't fit perfectly with the intro... Picture jet skis and boats floating on by... sunny California... cars speeding through the sunset... People running about. Kavinsky - Nightcall

Ayman1337
Any of these would fit LA: "Express Yourself" by Labrinth "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It" by Ice Cube "This is Los Angeles" by WC "Sweat" by David Guetta ft. Snoop Dogg
matt_be
My number one choice since November 2nd for GTA V's theme song is Ogden's Nut Gone Flake. I listen to that song all of the time.. lol. My number two choice would be that "L.S. Mob" song that was the "leaked GTA V theme song".
InstantCClassic
A new, original piece from Michael Hunter(which will happen). I shouldn't feel the smug tone I felt in IV. Needs to be exciting, yet dramatic.
GR7
Listening to F&L II and the instrumental for this song really caught my ear as some potential loading screen music.
progaimz
It depends on the story in my opinion. But just looking at the setting, sunny Los Angeles(Los Santos) I'd say: INSTRUMENTAL:
