luceberg
Gamor, as for operating systems, windows 7 64 bit is the best choice.

yoječ
2GBs of RAM is not enough, get 4GBs (RAM is cheap anyway). It doesn't have to be 1600MHz, 1333MHz will cut it. You can also get a cheaper power supply, you don't really need 650W, even proper 400W will do. What PSU did you choose exactly (brand and model)?
creative2
Yea it is 4gb an PSU is Inter-Tech 650W, aPFC, 120mm fan Maybe I take this? Codegen 550W ATX PSU, QoRi or well-known firm? I was told that the PCU must be taken with reserve.
yoječ
Codegen is just plain sh*t, do not buy it. As for the Inter-tech I've never heard of it before and chances are it's not so good too. Does the store you buy your PC in has a website? If yes, please link to it, I'll check what's worth buying there. if not, then your best bet is to buy a 400-500W (that _includes_ a reserve) PSU from a reliable brand, such as Corsair, OCZ, Antec, Seasonic, XFX, BeQuiet, Fortron/FSP, Fractal Design. Other good brand include Thermaltake, Chieftec, Aerocool - though these three have also outdated PSUs in their lineup, don't buy these unless you're 100% sure it's an up-to-date design. Avoid Cooler Master, LC-Power and Xilence, since their cheap PSUs just suck.

Bernard Jazz
2GBs of RAM is not enough I disagree, GTA4 runs fine on my rig with just 2GB RAM albeit I'm still using Windows XP. It might be a problem with Vista/7.
luceberg
2Gb ram is enough for windows xp 32 bit. Even then, with the \3Gb switch, 4Gb ram is better. For a new operating system, windows 7 64 bit with 4Gb ram is a good choice.
yoječ
Well, what I wanted to say is that RAM is so cheap nowadays that there's no point in getting only 2GBs.

But in the future i would get Intel sandy bridge cpu's,since they beat AMD cpu's in Gaming Benchmark Tests. Intel i5 2400 4x 3,1 for example, low price but has a great performance, and brings like 10FPS more in several games. but i guess you didnt had the chance to build your pc competly,so its still a good gaming PC (Just upgrade to 4gb Ram sometime)

Vintage88
gamor, a little friendly advice: DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I cannot recommend you to pirate it; that is completely against the ToS. However I can tell you this: This game is not optimized at all for PC. It's a sh*tty port and they haven't put time into fixing all the issues. You will crash hourly, have missing textures, and spend hours and hours troubleshooting simple things just to work.
unc13bud
i disagree. now is the perfect time to buy this game. anyway, so the corsair xms3 was being recognized by the biostar ta75A+ @ 1333. fortunately, because newegg is discontinuing money orders as payment, i ordered some gskill ddr3 1600 as well ($40). the board recognizes it @ 1600. the auto overclock setting v12 is 3270 mhz. result: Statistics Average FPS: 50.86 Duration: 37.24 sec CPU Usage: 60% System memory usage: 31% Video memory usage: 66% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1024 x 768 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: Medium Shadow Quality: Low Reflection Resolution: Off Water Quality: Low Texture Filter Quality: Tri-Linear Night Shadows: Off View Distance: 19 Detail Distance: 12 Hardware Microsoft Windows Developer Preview Video Adapter: SUMO 9640 Video Driver version: 8.17.10.1091 Audio Adapter: Speakers (Creative SB X-Fi) AMD A8-3870 APU with Radeon HD Graphics File ID: Benchmark.cli
