Lock n' Stock 2,925
GTA Advance is better than IV, for sure I know. GTA IV doesn't even compare to the detail GTAA offers. Mike has more personality in his balls than Niko can dream of. And the dialogue is so gripping, so inspirational. Truly, the voice actors are so full of emotion. Who needs voice actors when you have subtitles? It just makes so much sense. They should only have subtitles in GTA V, it's better off without voice actors. Subtitles alone help to read and understand the well-written dialogue more, as the case with Advance. Every single line was just perfect, and the subtitles helped to justify that. irganc 1
It is not the best, but I like it because it is a part of III era. III era (GTA3, VC, GTAA, SA, LCS, VCS) is the best of all gta's because of their storyline.
Dragonjack 2
It's not really "The best Grand Theft Auto game ever made" but it kind of takes us back in 1997 if you know what i'm saying and that's the first Grand Theft Auto game. I honestly haven't played this game for a long time actually. Edited December 19, 2012 by Dragonjack

AjdarFan 154
Yeah, I mean, who the f*ck plays GTA V when there is amazing game like GTA Advance? I mean, you can even have it on your handheld!, Stupid GTA V cannot let you play it when you're about to take a huge dump, but GTA Advance lets! Amazing and so insiprational storyline, I almost cried at Vinnie's presumed death :'( . And who the f*ck cares about graphics, more weapons and cars anyways, and flying an aircraft is too hard so R* just cropped it in GTA Advance to make it us easier and better gameplay experience! And smaller maps helps us to not confuse where we going instead of huge confusing map of V! And there's only one usable weapon called shotgun, other weapons are for aesthetics and stuff, because you cannot even kill people with other weapons other than shotgun, which again helps us to not confuse about what weapon should we use! Eugene H. Krabs 2,592
GTA Advance is a perfect example of a great cinematic experience that can see into your soul. The story is downright darker than GTA IV's, and it reflects morals and quotes that will never die out due to GTA Advance's awesomeness. All of the epic scenes are emotional, including this one: Oh wait. Bob Loblaw, Tacymist, CrackYoPenis and 11 others

jm-9 85
I really don't understand what people expect with this. Let's look at the GBA's specs: CPU speed: 16.7MHz Memory: 384KB Resolution: 240x160 Cartridge size: 32MB Backlight: None Control: D-pad, two shoulder buttons and two face buttons. Now let's look at GTA 1's minimum system requirements: CPU speed: 100MHz Memory: 16MB Resolution: 320x240 HDD Space: 80MB (plus nearly 700MB space on the CD for music) Control: Keyboard Remember, these are the minimum required to run the game, and they're still way above what the GBA has. Expecting full voice-acted cutscenes and a presentation similar to the console games is completely unrealistic. Valid criticism is fine, but it's important to consider the limitations of the hardware it's on. It makes more sense to compare it to other GBA games when considering what could have been done better. Comparing it to the console games in regards to certain things like graphics and sound is like complaining that Super Mario Bros. doesn't have HD graphics and is on a console that can't output anything better than composite video. A lot of people have complained about the frame rate, which I find interesting, because I've played it a few times and have never noticed it. I suspect that most people have played it on an emulator instead of real hardware. It's much easier to notice a low frame rate on a big PC monitor screen than on a tiny GBA screen. I've never heard anyone complain about the abundance of PSP games (LCS and VCS included) that run at 20fps, because you don't notice it on a small screen. The game's speed was also held back by the lack of a backlight. Many people complained about the GBA's screen being hard to see. Since this game only came out a year after the GBA SP (which didn't even have backlight, rather an inferior frontlit screen) the developers had to cater to owners of the original GBA. The complaints about music I can understand to a point. Anyone expecting a full soundtrack comparable to the console games is being unrealistic, they didn't have the space for that, but they could have used music that doesn't sound as repetitive. Some of it's fine, but other music gets annoying. I also don't like how it has no original music of its own. It's the only game in the series aside from London 1961 that doesn't have its own sound, and that was understandable in the case of London 1961, as it was DLC in 1999, when people had slow connections. I also don't like how easy it is to crash into cars. The camera doesn't always zoom out fast enough when you're driving so you can crash into cars at the edge of the screen. Again this is because of the small screen, but it's a flaw that they should have fixed. I'd also agree with the point made about its linearity. You never get a choice of story missions, which is the opposite of what GTA should be. It's still one of the worst GTA games, though I'd put it above GTA 1 and 2 GBC, as well as GTA London 1961, but even then it's still a very good game, it's just that the other games are better than it. How many people dissing it here have played any of the 2D-era games? By most of the standards set for this one they'd hate them. Mikeol1987 1,851
Graphics were not amazing, but I was personally blown away by the visuals watching it on my friends GBA back when it came out. I was amazed they got the entire HUD in, and the whole of LC. I actually really enjoyed GTA Advance when I eventually got it myself. Framerate can be really sucky sometimes but other than that its a good portable GTA if you don't have access to Chinatown Wars.
