I'm convert a car, I added a textures to .txd and then I export it as .tga, and replace she stock tga's. And I have a problem with glass, other textures are OK, but glass is too dark, and I can see to inside. Please how to fix it? I trying to give [trans] command and nothing happend. fireguy109 Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 There's more than one way to make glass. I'll use Zmodeler as an example, although you can do this in Max as well. Open up the material editor and make a new material. Now adjust the sliders so the the RGB are all 0 and the color is Black. Now start playing with the opacity to make the material semi-transparent, like this. Select the glass faces of your windows, open the material editor and click "apply to selection". Presto, clear windows. Even better, it's easy to play around with and make simple changes with and doesn't require messing around with image editing programs. = Alternatively, you can change the darkness of the TGA background to a lighter/darker gray to change the opacity of it.
