Because after all, the villains in GTA are the driving force that keeps the protagonist on his toes. GTA needs its villains, otherwise there would be no need to push forward and conquer! Even the people we play as has villain tendencies... but they are all for a good cause. That's why we call them anti-heroes. But what if we was to play as a straight up villain for once? Just imagine the possibilities! Nonetheless, here are the villains we have so far in GTA history: III era villains Jerry Martinez - GTA: Vice City Stories Sonny Forelli - GTA: Vice City Lance Vance - GTA: Vice City Frank Tenpenny - GTA: San Andreas Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris - GTA San Andreas Massimo Torini - GTA: Liberty City Stories Catalina - GTA III IV era villains Dimitri Rascalov - GTA IV Billy Grey - GTA: The Lost and Damned Ray Bulgarin - GTA: Ballad of Gay Tony Which brings us to Grand Theft Auto V. Who could this driving force be? We know the story is going to revolve around the economic crisis, so could the government be the bad guy here? Or could it be something totally different? Post your ideas and I will add them to this post! Someone diabolical, to someone who craves power and or/money, or just someone who is a complete f*cking mad man! What kind of bad guy would YOU like in Grand Theft Auto V? Who knows, maybe Rockstar will see this thread and add your ideas! The game is about the "pursuit of the almighty dollar" afterall. SGT. Johnson - A couple of corrupt FIB agents InstantCClassic - a hated news anchor or radio host SGT. Johnson - The villian could be your best friend TheLostBiker - your brother and or best friend. you get revenge at the end, but miss him. Johnny Playert - a relentless detective like Hanna from the movie Heat on your ass Racecarlock - actually playing as the villain this time kingcs - ruthless bounty hunters that track you down The Made Man - multiple villains Det. So the good guy will have faults and the bad guy will have sympathetic traits so we don't like him but we can understand his pains a bit like Shakespeares merchant of Venice. At the end after Marcus Fenix's dad, Adam dies, Marcus encounters Queen Myrrah and stabs her after a long ass fight. Would love a woman antagonist! m8son Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 We need an extremely diabolical antagonist, but I would love to see him as likable, like (San Andreas spoilers) everyone's favorite crack dealer Big Smoke. He betrayed the Grove, but how can you tell me that you didn't still love him at the end in the crack house? Or like in Batman Arkham City, Joker was evil, but I loved him! Its been a long time since we had a top of the line female villain/antagonist. And maybe her husband sides with you to attempt to take her down because she's so treacherous. She is sweet on the outside and loves teddy bears, pink, hobos and starving children in Africa, but in reality, she is pure evil. She controls 10% of the drug trade in Los Santos, Las Puertas and Tijuanna and is on the hit lists of many criminal organizations. You can work with anonymous style hackers to cordinate attacks on the LSPD, it can end with a giant riot on the steps of city hall, you use the riot as a cover to rob the bank and take out the corrupt cops. Although Joan isn't really abusive in this clip, she does hit Christina with the wire hanger immediately after. I'm thinking the protagonist chose to retire while his partner continued to climb up the ranks meaning he would be rich as hell. I'm guessing when the protagonists dreams don't go the way he wanted (possibly losing all his money or maybe the death of a loved one) he falls on bad times and starts looking towards a life of crime again which is where your old partner comes in as he offers you work. During the quarter point of the storyline things would go sour as you find out your partner was the catylyst of all your problems in a selfish attempt to get you to work for/with him again. Either that or Someone who just likes to f*ck with you who is more or less untouchable similar to tenpenny difference being hes not a cop just someone extremely wealthy whose bought everyone in the city. Imagine randomly getting a three star wanted level because the villian just wanted to mess with you. Either way its going to be someone with more money than sense im talking yusuf amir money Bonus scenario You mentor the guy with the tank top seen in the trailer into the crime business, along the way he gets greedy and tries to erase you from the equation this would become a whole lot more interesting if you get to play from both their viewpoints. Son, brother, cousin etc. I always had this idea just before GTA IV came out that Roman would end up betraying Niko. I know it would add a strong dynamic to the game and most people are tired of the emotional themes in GTA IV, but it's just something I've always wanted to see. He's on the force, trying to stop you every step of the way. Maybe he gets promoted to detective in one part of the game and uses his dispatch authority to mess up your drug and/or hooker deals or bank robberies or what have you throughout the story. And then by the end, you kick his ass hard enough to launch him to the moon. I want to feel as villainous as the joker or lex luthor. I don't want to just get rid of guys worse than me, but of guys better than me, who are trying to earn a decent living. I want to show them that in the GTA world, being an evil criminal mastermind genius with a mansion/fortress is the only way to make money and that being good will only get them f*cked up. I think it's time we showed those tiny NPC people how evil we can really be. Why yes, I do nuke levels in lemmings for fun and dig them off of cliffs and into fire and blade traps. Why do you ask? If we are going to have the option of playing multiple characters in V I would love the idea of being the villian. Imagine if we were able to play Officer Tenpenny or Big Smoke in SA. locolow2011 Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 I'd go for the shades of grey antagonist, someone we can relate to but at the same time we know is a bad guy. Also something worth mentioning, we're talking about GTA here, we're basicly the bad guys here so a normal antagonist to me would be a cop trying to kill us just to get ahead, kinda like Edgar Ross from Red Dead Redemption. The Protaganist (us) should be the one who keeps terrorising him and his girlfriend, we kidnap her and make him jump through hoops all over the city to get her back but we kill her anyway, just because.
