I have seen thousands,or even millions of the so-called "fanboys" all over the internet. There are some here,including myself. I know that you guys hate when your favorite stuff gets bashed or something, but we all know if you took the revenge way you're just starting a war - Flame Wars. These flame wars can hurt others. These flame wars just fill a topic that is full of sense with senseless and crappy dialogues. It turns into a fire that spreads very quickly. So, simple. I want everyone here in this forums to stop fanboyism,so at least we're helping clean up the fire that is eating the comments part of YouTube, the wonderful topics of this forums(aren't they?) and others in the internet. Forzum Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 I can't really see myself as a fanboy, since I'm an "all gamer", I like every type of games, I do have fav games (Metal Gear Solid) and if I someone talks sh*t about it I might drop an opinion there & here, but then again Metal Gear Solid is a "complicated" series. It's hard to just jump into it if you haven't been playing since mgs 1. In terms of "worst" fanboys according to me, it's definitely some of the Call of Duty ones. They just have to flame on every game out there, even on gtav theres a lot of cod comments, but those are trolls but still, CoD has created the most & the worst fanboys ever. And console fanboyism is just silly & stupid, every console is better in some points, and worse in some. No game, nor console can be the "best" in everyones eyes. I was watching the GTA V trailer again the other day and half the comments were "GTAV IS sh*t! C.O.D RULEZ!!" "gta is for pussies cod is 4 men" "Fuk gta fuk cod skyrim is where its at bitches!!" (The kid who posted that got a reply saying "f*ck off or I'll shove a f*cking arrow into your knee" it's funny how some people can get into argument over something that isn't real.) "wow this looks sh*t already and it aint even been released yet" I don't know if they are trolls or just 10 year olds but either way they got a handful of hateful responses back. The worse though is them PS3/Xbox/Wii fanboys who go over to another consoles video and post comments like the ones listed above, but aimed at another console. (E.G Xbox and PS3.)
