Ispintechno
Jets will bring balance to the game. Loitering helicopters shooting at the ground will be decimated by passing jets, and jets will be much less of a nuisance to tiny little folks on the ground fighting amongst themselves. It's exactly what GTAV multi needs. No question about it. Just started playing BF3 online with jets last night, not bad as long as you turn off inverted for the helicopter controls in the menu, as it says it doesn't but turns the jet controls up and down non inverted and its f*ckity, I almost cried when I first tried jets in BF3. It was terrible, fixed the control in the menu and its actually pretty sweet. I'd hope GTA jets are similar if not a little easier however for the casual gamer vs a simulator whore. And how exactly will Jets be better for GTA MP? Now you have to worry about being blown up while flying aircraft! It's the same thing, only now you can be killed for flying aircraft! Slamman
Why wouldn't there be? Is it the idea that some obsess over MP attacks via planes? I found it a very fun element, and a natural one for GTA online multiplayer in reality. Having Helis alone is a disappointment actually
Ispintechno
And how exactly will Jets be better for GTA MP? Now you have to worry about being blown up while flying aircraft! It's the same thing, only now you can be killed for flying aircraft! Yeah, but not really. Jets are really for air superiority. Mind you some jets have heavy ground role missions by design but more for heavy armor in support of ground infantry to advance and get past the obstacles. (helping the guy on foot) You will never get a guy spawn killing you in a jet, where as an attack helicopter they have the option to do so until you leave the game. The jet will eliminate the helicopter being a pain in the ass to Joe pistol or hank motorcycle hero. Jets will eliminate the heli threat and if the odd ground attack happens its a hit and run, a lucky strike and fun and exciting for both sides. Nothing like what we see with the buzzard, and it will knock buzzards out of the sky as easily as banging a $12.25 whore when they stay still and loiter on ground targets. If you weigh it out, its obvious. It's what is missing. And dogfights will leave the guys on the ground out of the picture all together. The only exception would be if the jets are indeed VTOL and the helicopters and jets join forces to pick on players on foot, which shouldn't happen. This would be boring in a jet. Very boring. It will probably happen in the odd game, but one guy who manages to take a jet opposing this have them all bug out in seconds or die. Its a solution to stop what happens in TBOGT MP. MrcTOtheJ
I don’t see why not. They could have an option for free roam online where vehicles with weapons don’t spawn or the weapons don’t function so noobs come on and ruin everyone’s fun. That or a more comical approach, when someone tries to fire the weapon they get spawned at the highest point in the game and free fall to their death. (I’ve seen something like that in SA:MP in a server, outside of DM if you fire say the hydra’s rockets that happens) So that way if the host wants, there wouldn't be anyone spamming hydra rockets, and it'd just be people flying Shamals, Mavericks, and crop dusters. Or if the host wants they could have them there with or with out the weapons. Though they'd be unchanged in DM modes. And like Ispintechno, most likely fighters would mainly be taking out other air threats like damned buzzards any how, and other wise it'd just be lucky strikes and hit and run on ground troops/players. Though if it's VTOL that we still have that issue like he also said. Or if they include a plane specifically made to pick on ground forces. Bombers anyone? though I don't see that happening, though more likely could be a ground attack aircraft like a A-10 Thunderbolt-II (made to support infantry by taking out tanks and armored personal carriers), but I don't see that happening ethier really. (Though I'd love it if a A-10 based plane was in game)

I watched the part where the fighter jet passes in the trailer over and over again, and i think it is as fast as the Hydra was in San Andreas. I could be wrong tough.. StateofMind15
I think there should be planes, but no hydra jets or planes with weapons in freemode. The hydra jets should be left for another mode. So yes they should be in. What if i just wanna destroy cops with a hydra with my friends? A host option should be able to turn them off or on.
