GustavoMota Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 What are some things you can do any time for kicks, without getting bored? Aside from police rampages, of course. For me, I used to have the PC version and there was some screwup with my gamertag that wouldn't allow me to save the game. Sometimes I'd do the first mission (with the loan sharks) so that I could get the phone and mess around with cheats, but when I didn't feel like it, I'd just drive up and down Delaware Ave. and mow down as many peds as possible, trying to dump them over the edge, etc. No matter how many times you go back and forth there are always more pedestrians. The problem is Roman's cab eventually gets trashed when the cops come. I also love ripping down the straightaway on Montauk Ave., picking up a ton of speed and then launching under that arch at the top of the hill and plowing over the people there. Then you continue onto the other side and there's inevitably someone on the sidewalk who gets a bumper to the face. It's also fun going to the airport and stealing a tug (those little baggage things) or going to the industrial park in Alderney and getting a forklift. Then drive them on the highway. Awesome. And finally, cooking a grenade and then tossing it into a crowd of people and watching them fly. Or a Molotov. Problem is everyone and his dog wants to kill you after you throw a Molotov. I never get bored of this: First, call Dwayne to get his Backup and then call Roman to give you a taxi. What's unique about Roman's cab, is that the driver will not run away if the cops are shooting at you. Get several wanted stars and then set a marker on the other side of the city for the driver to follow. Now you and Dwayne's thugs will try to fight off the cops doing drive-by shooting. 100mL Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 To me the simple act of driving never gets old. Running down peds is also a fav. The sound of bodies hitting the hood still thrills me. sonnyBlack Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 I never seem to get bored of hitting peds at high speed with my pickup and trying to catch them in my truck bed. There's something very rewarding with being able to do that and then driving around with a body flopping around in the back (works best with TLAD's flatbed Yankee though). I also never get bored of driving under Patriots when in an Infernus or any other car with a wedge like front. You just catch their rear tire with the front of your car and you'll scoop right under them. Then there's the usual pushing people down stairwells and off ladders/other high places. One guy said he' d give Niko money to let him go! Pretty awesome I think. And, just speeding around the city is fun also. Sometimes you can find bums around cliff areas, but not all of the time. While I was in a boat around the cliffs that abandoned mansion is on I noticed a lone hobo just standing a few feet from the edge of the cliff. But usually when I want to push people off all a high area, I go to the top this tower via ladder: It's in Alderney, if you wish to check it out, I have it marked on the map here for reference. If you have cops after you, they will climb up to the top to get to you, in which case you can easily shoot or kick/push off the edge. There's many of these towers dotted across the map, but this is the only one I've seen that consistently had a worker at the top each time.
