Exxon
Have you downloaded the game or is it a legal copy? Besides that, your videocard isn't strong enough to run this game. Turn everything down to it's minimum and see if that helps, if not you should upgrade your videocard.
radioman
Also, you need to upgrade to SP3 for XP, as the game requires SP3 for XP, as SP2 is not supported.... As Exxon said, Lower the in-game settings to LOW and the sliders at 20 or less to increase performance... Sorry 'bout that Exxon. unc13bud
yes, that video card is junk for GTA IV, it has the same performance in shader processing as an onboard geforce/nforce motherboard (16 shaders). get an 8800gt or 9800gt, or even an 8600gt if you can still find one. 9500 or 9600gt would be somewhat acceptable also. 9600gso even. better yet, just post the videocard you plan to purchase here. Exxon
As Mkey said, Lower the in-game settings to LOW and the sliders at 20 or less to increase performance... Mkey? The only one who has posted before you was me By the way, I should also lower the sliders even more for better performance
