GTA-King
Once I am sick of Skyrim (if ever) Max Payne 3 should keep me tied over for awhile. Then after that, I told myself I would get 100% completion on GTA IV, BoGT, and TLaD before V comes out. So yeah, I'm set!

Rockstar20124
I think the map editor is the best part of the game tbh as you have endless possibilities, and I am going to admit that I havnt played the single player storyline much but I got it for £2 from HMV so for that its a ruddy good game. And Joan you can drive cars on there. Yeah, the map editor actually is pretty amazing. I think I used an youtube video of it as an example in one of my GTA V - Design Your Own Mission/Mission Designer/Level Editor or something similar topic together with an Infamous 2 Level Creator clip a while ago. Still the singleplayer sucks and the online community was pretty much dead in a couple of months after launch at least on 360 and PS3. It's a damn shame Crytek can't make a great game with at least a decent story and some interesting characters. The same goes for Crysis 2. Graphics are incredible but the story and characters are generic and forgettable at most And don't get me started on the terrible enemy A.I. OT lists: Games already released - GTA IV : Complete Edition (obviously ) - Dead Rising 2 - Deus Ex : Human Revolution - Dead Island - Need for Speed : The Run (Seriously underrated, great mix of urban and countryside tracks, maybe a bit short but still much better then Burnout : Hot Pursuit which got repetitive and tedious because of cheating A.I., the too many unskippable crash/police showing up videos during gameplay, boring countryside only tracks and much more) - Saints Row : The Third - Battlefield 3 - Mercenaries 2 - Mafia 2 - The Saboteur - Red Dead Redemption - Assassins Creed : Brotherhood (The best AC game imho, including a horse you can call to you at almost any time similar to RDR, why was this removed in Revelations FFS ) New Games - Twisted Metal - Mass Effect 3 - Resident Evil : Operation Raccoon City - Max Payne 3 - Ninja Gaiden 3 - Prototype 2 - Darksiders 2 - Ghost Recon : Future Soldier - Hitman : Absolution - True Crime : Hong Kong (or whatever it's going to be called, I hope a release somewhere in the first half of 2012, would be suicide to release this against GTA V the end of the year) I'm still assuming an October 2012 release for GTA V. So, Resident Evil 6 will not be in the New Games list. Because Capcom's first trailer of this game immediately has the release date in it. 11.20.2012 !!! Lucas100
Max Payne 3 Any open world games? i\'ve tried playing Skyrim with my boyfriend but it\'s very fantasy based and unrealistic. Maybe I\'m just being unfair with it so perhaps I will give it another try. In what way is it unrealistic? It simply takes place in a different world than our own. Magic classes, random dragons and various wildlife scattered about the forests and people talking in the villages and cities. These were all well done and immersive. And if it's unrealistic simply because of the fantasy elements, well then of course it's unrealistic. It's a FANTASY game. Though if you do want some realism, well, you have already played through mafia II, so maybe the sims or something. Red Dead Redemption? Skyrim was a pain in the ass for anyone who isn't into RPG's. I disagree.I wasnt into the rpg world,i dont liked rpg,but i've played Skyrim and now i like rpg

One of the most boring and frustrating games I have ever played Talk about a huge empty copy paste map for one thing. SilentSeas
I'm gonna suggest some games that I haven't seen mentioned so far: Red Faction: Armageddon - Very much an underrated game and far more solid than SR. THQ and Volition are wrong to drop this series in favor of SR. Midnight Club: LA - Might be an insight into how R* will portray LA visually. MAG - You're more likely to find it challenging and less likely to be called a noob by a 12 year old with a scouse accent than you would with CoD. CrzChris4
I was going to mention Midnight Club: LA. It'll be interesting if they have the "Nakatomi" Plaza/Tower in the game...could lead to a mission parodying Die Hard, which I would absolutely love. It's even much worse then Just Cause 2 Read this article and save your cash http://whengamessuck.wordpress.com/2008/10...cry-2-xbox-360/ I loved FarCry2... I hope you were playing on the PC because at least there you could save anywhere. Unlike the PS3 and 360 version. You have to drive all the way back to a little safehouse. Which literally takes you 10 to 15 minutes. Why can't you instantly fast travel to a safehouse like Fallout 3 or Red Faction : Guerrilla? Or at least like get/call a ride (taxi in GTA IV) or helicopter (like from Brucie) to one of the safehouses. And then you have the guns which will deteriorate and jam after a short while when firing unexpectedly during gameplay. You would get malaria which blurs your vision for a long time. Even when you have taken pills against it. The respawning guards and the guard posts are ridiculous as well. You drive 5 seconds away and go back, the post is full with guards again And why do the A.I. enemies know exactly where you are from a very long distance when you use the sniper. And don't get me started on the horrible voice acting and terrible script or lack of and boring characters It did have a great map editor and the fire mechanics looked nice but overall it is one of the worst single player games ever. Maybe it's playable on PC with big gamechanging mods/cheats and save anywhere function Also, I think Far Cry 3 could still be a great game. Because the premise has so much potential. If Crytek fix a lot, and I mean a whole lot, of things Weapons jamming Horrible voice acting without emotion and spoken too fast (or was the recording speeded up?). You seriously can't hear when a sentence begins or ends. Simply TERRIBLE
