LethalCrizzle
I want them to expand the multilayer experience on GTA V. It allows great re-play value, and its great fun! But it can be so much more!
Blackous666
1st of all u have to play single player...do all activities...and then have fun with other ppl online i have done it with IV.... it gave me alot of fun... Algonquin Assassin
Hell no. I'm really looking forward to MP considering it's going to have wilderness. GTA IV was awesome. RDR was better again. Unlike some games that have a bias towards MP that neglects SP (COD) R* have made a great balance berween MP and SP as seen with GTA IV and RDR. mute!
the "bold" direction to me means activities can be played with others during free-mode, along with leader-boards, etc, and more people online for the console version. I always hated that I couldnt played pool with a friend online or even go bowling. Theres needs to be more things to do during free-mode and I think R* will deliver here. SGT. Johnson
Yes it will between m.p and dlc gta v will be sh*t for people without those features i doubt i'll even buy this game now tbo You whine so much about not being able to play online. In the time that you are whining perhaps you can find a better way to mke use of your time and solve the problem of not being able to play online. OT: I hope it is a unique mixture of both RDR and GTA IV.
StateofMind15
If they Red Deadify mp in V then free mode will be ruined. That would make it better. In red dead, the gameplay was smoother more refined, you could group up with friends, clear out forts, the weapons unlock system was better than picking them up, you kept weapons when you died, and the spawns were much better. One thing that bothered me in gta is I would die and spawn half way across the map which delayed my revenge on whoever killed me and slowed down firefights. That's my opinion. You shouldn't HAVE to unlock weapons, that was the stupidest thing in RDR. Why should I have to do hideouts over and over just so I can unlock everything so I finally start having fun. If you die and lose your weapons is good thing to stop noobs from keeping the most powerful weapons.
llpalm08
I think that GTA IV didn't have as many features as SA because they had to completeley re-do everything because of it being on a different engine but im sure that they are going to have allot more features this time because of them being able to transfer the features from IV to V so they have more time to add features. xxcyylonexx
i noticed quite a few single player focused games that were ruined by adding multiplayer (compare AC1/2 with ACB/ACR). let's hope it doesnt turn out like Assassin's Creed did... IMO, AC1 was the worst of the series.
Ispintechno
I personally don't plan on touching multi player until I complete the single mode, GTA single player is the best gaming experience out there. MP is for when the story is over and make a new game out of the game you love. Maybe in future consoles and internet bandwidth the two will melt together, seeing people doing missions that you can obstruct or help out, but right now I doubt that is even remotely possible. It's an extra leg to the game as far as I'm concerned, and a great one. Hope multi catches up to single as they have that nailed.
TrialzGTAS
I have beaten the single player 4 time (once a year) and put hundreds of hours into the multiplayer. It makes GTA, GTA.
Lioshenka
I personally don't plan on touching multi player It never worked for me in GTA 4. SA had an awesome multiplayer, definately would love to see something like that.
Durden
That's pretty pathetic, to only play the story. It's like buying CoD just for the campaign. If you have internet problems, then OK. but to just not like the GTA multiplayer? Pffft

Len Lfc
The multiplayer in GTA IV was as basic as multiplayer comes - just your run-of-the-mill game modes all set on the same map, where the only form of progress was getting more clothes. That wouldn't have taken anything from the singleplayer. While I am expecting much, much more in the way of online multiplayer in GTA V, Rockstar would never sacrifice the singleplayer. Personally, I never felt that AC:B's singleplayer was particularly worse than AC2's. I agree. But I felt that AC:R was the worst of them all, & that it had nothing to do with the addition of Multiplayer. zakace
As long as they add free mode then ill be happy, its just good fun to have a huge map that you and friends can roam around freely without any pressure to anything you dont want to do, one thing they should do though is make sure all cars from single player are added to the multiplayer modes
