Then bombared them with info on a game they havent heard of in the hope they buy that to pass the time until GTA comes out. I think you have hit the nail on the head with that comment! The only nail he hit is the one that says he is either 12 years old, and can't remember that Max Payne is a huge deal in the gaming industry, OR has no clue that any other games exist outside of GTA. To say that MP is a game no one has ever heard of is DUMB. It's not a huge deal though, which is why it's been shunted to May so Mass Effect doesnt bone it. Its certainly popular and well regarded, but Max Payne has never been a mammoth seller. Except that you don't REALLY know why MP3 was postponed. Many games get postponed for different reasons. GTAIV was postponed because it was'nt ready, and THAT is the reason being given for MP3's release date postponement. I guess you think Rockstar did'nt know Mass Effect's release date, and only you knew about it? Why would you rather believe the absurd theory that Rockstar was caught by surprise with Mass Effects release date, instead of taking their word that the game just was'nt up to their standards of being right? It's far better PR to announce that theyre all concerned about quality than admit MP3 doesnt have the legs to go it alone. People talk like we'd be better off if the trailer was never released at all. More like I feed R* all of my hard-earned money. I am positive they could do without your $60. I am really curious/fascinated to see if you are going to buy this game or not. Don't worry I'll buy it. When a used copy becomes available in GameStop. Somehow I think you'll be waiting a while lol. Hopefully not too long... I'm prepared to wait, though. They seem to be forgetting the bread and butter of the operation. Also there isn't any need for a boycott, just buying the game used is a bigger slap in the face, and you get to play the game. I won't be doing that to Rockstar though, only out of respect for the GTA's of the past, but definitely not because of these recent actions. Strange days... best explanation yet. they act like the people know them as game creator, but when you get outside of forums and what not... R* IS GTA. thats what people think when they think about r*-GTA. My personal theory is that they have been testing a bunch of different stuff with all these other games, like your honor in RDR, it made you think about every kill, adds more realism. or motion scan with LA noire. MP3 will probably have another whole new feature (I dont play it so ???) that GTA v could also incorporate. all tester games for the big one. that would be pretty cool.
