R&B Radio Stations again?

Soulja Boy CANNOT RAP! 99% of the rap songs after the year 2001 ARE GARBAGE! Soulja Boy has no flow, his rhymes suck, his beats suck, he doesn't have anything interesting to say and rap music is all about telling a good and interesting story not just how cool he is and how much cash he got. Rap music from 1986 - 1999 was an awesome period! Why? Because this was when rappers had amazing rhymes, awesome beats, sick flow and smooth voices unlike that little girl Lil Wayne.

By the way. All the rappers today admits they got inspiration from the 90s kings such as 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, Nas, Guru, Big L, Big Pun, Eazy-E and many more. They admit this. That's why all the rappers today have "Lil" in their names or "boy" in their names because they admit they are little boys while the rappers in the 90s choose to call themselves Big.

 

 

 

Soulja Boy/Lil Wayne/Young Money/Drake/Gucci Mane rhymes:

The above text is not really lyrics from these artists. I was illustrating how incredibly bad their rhymes are and the garbage they sing about. They seriously don't know what they're doing. They just make random sentences isntead of sticking to a story. And they cannot write long sentences, they always have 3 - 4 words per bar.

 

Here's some REAL lyrics from good and intelligent rappers. Read the rhymes and be amazed because it takes real talen to make rhymes like these. Not just rhyming randomly like "I'm so hot, because my penis is big, and I pull the trig, if someone eats a pig".

See the difference you Soulja Boy fans? The lyrics above IS WHAT RAP MUSIC AND HIP HOP IS ALL ABOUT. Telling good stories rapping over insane beats. And if you don't have an interesting story to tell, just write something seriously awesome like the lyrics from Big L - Let Em Have It L where he says "Step to this and get shanked up, I knocked out so many teeth the tooth fairy went bankrupt." I mean come one. That sentence ALONE is better than Soulja Boys, Lil Waynes, Drakes, Young Money and Gucci Manes whole career TOGETHER! Start listening to real music not some dick-less queers who brag about how much money they got and they whips they drive in or the numbers of girl they screw. Listen to real rap music WITH MEANING. Not some brainless junk which we see today in the music industry. I listen to rap music from the 80s and the 90s, pop music from the 70s to 90s and early 00s and some smooth and awesome RnB from the 90s as well. I also listen to Stevie Wonder and some soul. But my true passion is 80s and 90s rap music. Sure, some of the songs were very offensive but if you take a closer look they aren't offensive for no reason. They are mad becuase of how they were treated during the 80s and 90s.

So as a real fan of R&B, I missed this in GTA EFLC  (& Saints Row the Third), it used to be my most listened to channel. I would just appreciate it if they brought back a good radio station that would increase the musical diversity.

I'm definitely not a huge R&B fan, but I love The Vibe and it's probably my favorite station in GTA IV I also miss it when playing EFLC. And Saints Row 3 has one of the most disappointing soundtracks ever Anyway, Rockstar North had better bring back The Vibe or something similar in GTA V

Sorry but +1, that Raheem Devaughn - You was possibly the greatest discovery I have ever made in a game. Had to go and cop that track because although it's modern R&B it has that classic R&B feel to it.

You're welcome It is an AMAZING song from start to finish and it works even better in GTA IV because of the serious, dark and gritty story and atmosphere. Maybe the song gives a bit of hope in an at times in depressing, hard and ruthless world

You guys do know that what you're posting up is NOT R&B but Hip-Hop if they are rapping in the song it's Hip-Hop, just because you have a sample of an artist's voice like Marvin Gaye in the song doesn't make it Soul or R&B. The Vibe was a good example of mixing old music from the 80's and 90's with today's R&B music though some wouldn't even consider Ne-Yo apart of R&B music. I think someone mention some of the artists that played on The Vibe, Alexander O'Neal, Freddie Jackson and The Isley Brothers that is R&B and Soul music.

 

I wouldn't expect The Vibe to be apart of Los Santos because The Vibe is an East coast station, you might get radio stations like CSR (San Andreas) would be nice to have more songs from the 90's only being played on that radio station. I would think there would be a new radio station that plays the classics but that is what Bounce FM was for to play the classic 70's and 80's music like Cameo, The Ohio Players and The Isley Brothers. I wouldn't mind seeing Bounce FM and CSR coming back, Radio Los Santos might actually be the radio station to play Hip-Hop and Rap.

It's likely that they won't put in a Hip Hop station considering there wasn't one in GTA IV. I'm just listing music that gives me an old school vibe. We didn't say that the Vibe would be brought back into V, but rather an R&B station under a different name. I know what's Hip Hop and I know what's R&B.

It seems like there's a massive divide between the two types of R&B getting posted here. I personally think the more contemporary stuff will definitely get a radio station, but not the older stuff, which is quite unfortunate.

 

Nonetheless, my favorite R&B artist is The Weeknd, so as long as he's included I'll be really happy.
